<div>As an experienced Building Engineer within Corporate Advisory &amp; Solutions, you will be responsible for maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, focusing on performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to tenant requests, and ensuring systems operate safely under the guidance of senior engineers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

<li>Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems; address service requests, including hot/cold calls, plumbing issues, and lighting repairs.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and escalate issues as needed.</li>
<li>Replace light fixtures, filters, and other components as required.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of inspections and equipment performance.</li>
<li>Interact with tenants, contractors, and property managers and work closely with senior engineers and technicians to support smooth building operations and resolve tenant issues.</li>
<li>Assist with preventive maintenance tasks and contractor oversight.</li>
<li>Conduct property inspections to identify deficiencies.</li>
<li>Record equipment readings and ensure assigned building systems are operating according to standards.</li>
<li>Follow company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE; ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFC, NFPA regulations; report safety hazards; participate in safety inspections.</li>
<li>Provide guidance to junior Technicians when needed.</li>
<li>Communicate verbally and in writing with teammates, leadership team, vendors, tenants, and client employees in a professional manner, keeping the appropriate customer(s) informed/updated as needed.</li>
<li>Work closely with senior engineers to develop technical skills and participate in professional development programs to grow into advanced roles.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>HS Diploma or GED required</li>
<li>Two to three years of job related experience or commensurate certification/trade experience</li>
<li>OSHA certification is required</li>
<li>Experience with ammonia refrigeration is required</li>
<li>CFC Certification preferred or willingness to obtain as requested; possess engineering and trade licenses required according to local, state, or national requirements</li>
<li>Basic working knowledge of laptop and phone applications for work order and facility operation systems as well as basic skills with Microsoft Outlook</li>
<li>Familiar with fire/life safety equipment/procedures</li>
<li>Proven track record for delivering excellent internal and external customer service; ability to successfully interact/communicate with tenants/vendors/contractors as well as teammates and leadership team</li>
<li>Familiarity with blueprints and code requirements</li>
<li>Ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, and during emergency situations as necessary to meet the needs of the client</li>
<li>Possess competent knowledge of use and care of tools</li>
<li>Ability to read and write English in order to understand manuals and procedures, and to write reports.</li>
<li>Exhibit a willingness to develop familiarity with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and gain experience with BAS operation and troubleshooting.</li>

Responsibilities:</h3>
<ul><li>Execute successful customer onboarding, partnering cross-functionally to ensure seamless deployment</li>
<li>Guide customers through SIM provisioning, device configuration, and connectivity setup</li>
<li>Diagnose and resolve SIM, device, and network-level connectivity issues in collaboration with internal teams</li>
<li>Own Level 2 (L2) support escalations, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with customers</li>
<li>Work hand-in-hand with customers to scope, debug, and resolve technical challenges throughout the deployment lifecycle</li>
<li>Understand a wide variety of customer use cases, and align technical solutions with both business and functional requirements</li>
<li>Escalate complex or systemic issues while maintaining ownership and customer trust</li>
<li>Maintain and improve internal tooling, including AI-driven support tools and Documentation (internal and external).</li>
<li>Advocate for customers internally, surfacing product gaps, technical pain points, and feedback to improve the overall platform experience</li>

<ul><li>Solid understanding of cellular networks, IoT devices, various Radio Access Technologies (RATs), and communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT)</li>
<li>2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or Technical Consultant)</li>
<li>Experience working with scripting languages (e.g., Python or Ruby), SQL, and REST APIs</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences</li>
<li>A strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on solving problems and driving value</li>

Job Description 
AECOM is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience on Hyperscale Data Center projects to act as Data Center Mechanical Engineer Lead. The job incumbent will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of mechanical systems for hyperscale data centers, including HVAC, piping and fire suppression systems. This position is based in Arlington, VA, however, is open to other AECOM office locations and remote work under certain circumstances.
The Mechanical Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working with high-density data centers.

Qualifications 
Minimum Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus ten (10) years of relevant experience in mechanical design and/or mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center infrastructure, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education</li><li>
Professional Engineer License (P.E.) is required</li></ul>
Preferred Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering plus twelve (12) years of relevant experience in mechanical design and/or mechanical engineering, with a focus on data center infrastructure, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education</li><li>
Extensive experience in mechanical engineering for data centers or other critical facilities.</li><li>
Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and fire suppression systems design and construction.</li><li>
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills</li><li>
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients</li><li>
Ability to think creatively and identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.</li><li>
Experience working with computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) software</li><li>
