<div><p>The Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa is seeking a Finance Manager with the Clinical Research Services team that will provide oversight for cancer clinical research finance and accounting. Proactively monitors complex accounting functions, ensuring compliance with all university, state, federal, and sponsor requirements. Negotiates budgets and acts as a resource for financial analysts in negotiating budgets with sponsors. Partners with principal investigators, clinical research staff, and administrators to increase understand of research finances and ensure transparent, compliant, and efficient management of oncology clinical research funding. Duties to include:</p><p>

University of Iowa Stead Family Department of Pediatrics seeks a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) physician. Appointment rank is open and may be to either the tenure track or clinical (non-tenure) track consistent with clinical experience and research interest. Appointment rank to Instructor of Pediatrics (non-tenure or clinical track) may also be considered. The individual selected will join the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics to provide patient care, teaching, and consultative services as developmental and behavioral specialist.</p><p><br>
The Division is comprised of five faculty, 3 LIPs, and a DBP Fellow, and is a national leader in research, with NIH-funded grants, including the Hawkeye Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center (Hawk-IDDRC), as well as industry-sponsored clinical research. In the 2024-25 edition of &ldquo;Best Children&rsquo;s Hospitals,&rdquo; <i>U.S. News &amp; World Report</i> ranked our program as one of the top 50 hospitals for behavioral health. The Division works closely with the University of Iowa Center for Disabilities and Development (CDD), which has been Iowa&rsquo;s University Center for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) since 1972. The Center for Disabilities and Development integrates a broad array of clinical services in one location, including developmental and behavioral pediatrics, psychology, speech-language pathology, occupational and physical therapy, social work, education, audiology, and nursing, and thus provides an ideal environment for exceptional patient care, education and research. Populates patient-reported information into provider-built EMR documentation tools for the specific disease states and preventative visits.</li><li>
Reviews EMR for patient care gaps, addresses and updates missing data.</li><li>
Communicates a summary of the patient-reported information to the provider prior to entry of the room or within the room with the patient present.</li><li>
Accompanies the physician or medical provider into the examination room in order to transcribe the clinician&rsquo;s and care team&rsquo;s encounter with the patient in real time.</li><li>

Appropriately documents results of laboratory and radiographic studies as dictated by the clinician. Organizes all patient test results and transcribes the results of the encounter into the patient&rsquo;s medical record.</li><li>
Responsible for the input of orders for provider signature or signing orders (per protocol) as directed by the provider. This may include referral orders, medication refill orders, imaging orders, or lab orders.</li><li>
Identifies the portions of the encounter that were scribed on behalf of the provider using the scribe signature per policy.</li><li>
Schedules future appointments, referrals, procedures, and diagnostics as appropriate.</li><li>
Provides patient instruction using pre-approved patient education materials specific to the chief complaint or for the health promotion of observed behaviors known to contribute to poor health, as directed by the provider.</li><li>
Prints after visit summary and completes discharge of patient from exam room.</li><li>
Provides age-appropriate care/service as applicable to role.</li><li>

<div><p>The Assistant Director, University Billing plays a critical role in leading and supporting the University&rsquo;s billing office day-to-day operations. This position oversees or supports key operational processes such as, monthly Ubill processing, student financial aid disbursement, and accounts receivable management while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.</p><p>
This role supervises billing staff, supports the accurate and timely issuance of student bills, supports system maintenance and upgrades (MAUI), and assists with financial reporting and analysis.</p><p>
The Assistant Director serves as the primary operational decision-maker for complex billing issues and escalated cases, exercising sound judgment to interpret policy, research solutions, and determine appropriate courses of action when guidance or precedent may be limited.
