Position Summary
This role is responsible for analyzing complex commercial liability coverage issues and managing litigated claims from inception through resolution in accordance with company Best Practices. You will investigate, evaluate, reserve, negotiate, and settle high-exposure claims while delivering superior customer service and exercising disciplined indemnity and expense management.
The ideal candidate is experienced in interpreting commercial construction contracts, hold harmless agreements, indemnification provisions, and contractual liability defense and indemnity language. You will collaborate closely with coverage counsel, defense counsel, and executive leadership while maintaining ownership of your claim inventory.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Manage complex, litigated commercial liability claims from first notice through disposition.</li><li>
Analyze insurance coverage and issue reservation of rights and disclaimer letters as appropriate.</li><li>
Interpret commercial construction contracts, indemnification agreements, and contractual liability provisions.</li><li>
Develop and implement litigation strategies in partnership with defense counsel in accordance with Litigation Guidelines.</li><li>
Attend mediations, depositions, arbitrations, pre-trials, and trials as needed.</li><li>
Negotiate and settle claims within delegated authority while identifying alternative resolution strategies.</li><li>
Evaluate liability and damages exposure and establish appropriate indemnity and expense reserves.</li><li>
Present high-level claim summaries to executive leadership.</li><li>
Control and manage third-party defense costs in alignment with Legal Department standards.</li><li>
Identify and pursue risk transfer opportunities, including additional insured and other insurance provisions.</li><li>
Maintain strong diary management and documentation standards to ensure timely, compliant file handling.</li><li>
Coordinate investigations with underwriting, subrogation, fraud, fire investigators, OSHA, contractors, engineers, and other technical experts as needed.</li><li>

Annual Salary
$65,600.00 - $129,150.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Our practice is focused primarily on state and federal criminal defense, with one attorney also handling select personal injury matters. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced litigation environment where precision, discretion, and strong organizational skills are essential.This paid role offers a meaningful opportunity to gain real-world exposure to courtroom practice, client advocacy, and case strategy. No prior legal experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Job Summary: We seek a Commercial Property Manager who will assist the Vice President of Property Services in managing on and off-site property activities. Supervisory Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Supervise on-site employees and applicable office staff as projects may require. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Ciminelli policies and applicable laws. Oversees/recommends periodic updates of property management proposal materials, operating reports, tenant handbooks, online documents and ancillary prospect/client materials</li></ul><div>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Prepares property operating budget(s) utilizing budget and forecasting module and analyze expense reconciliations</li><li>
Completes, supervises, and coordinates preparation of monthly client operation reports (financial statements, report narratives, comparative income statements, etc)</li><li>
Monitors weekly cash balances on assigned properties. Ensures monthly mortgage payments, sales tax, insurance premiums, and real estate taxes are paid timely on assigned properties. Facilitates owner funding if necessary</li><li>
Approves the processing of invoices and there proper coding for property related expenditures for assigned properties</li><li>
Monitors and coordinates timely Real Estate, Quarterly, State and Federal Tax preparation and submission</li><li>
Performs routine inspections of the property to ensure proper operation of building systems, overall tenant satisfaction, general curb appeal, proper maintenance, and code compliance</li><li>
Ensures owner/tenant satisfaction though high-level interaction with same 
</li><li>
Monitors and tracks all health, life, safety, legal and insurance claims, informs Vice President of Property Services regarding all claims received 
</li><li>
Investigates accidents, vandalism, or property damage, recommending action and/or submitting claims for payment to an insurance carrier 
</li><li>
Oversees and coordinates transition and disposition of portfolio properties 
</li><li>
Ensures property insurance policies are renewed before expiration 
</li><li>
Ensures tenant/vendor files and insurance certificates are kept current 
</li><li>
Oversees and ensures annual corporate entity and annual condo filings are submitted to the appropriate state authorities as well as maintain copies of bylaws, rules &amp; regs, &amp; meeting minutes</li><li>
Attend condominium or association meetings as needed 
</li><li>
Seeks educational and development opportunities to stay current with company goals and industry trends</li><li>
Supervise tenant move-ins and move outs 
</li><li>
Perform special assignments upon request; direct, supervise and participate in research, analysis and development of studies as needed

B.A. or B.S. degree in Management, Finance, Real Estate or related field

Minimum of three years related experience and/or training in a commercial real estate management function.
 
</li><li>Solid knowledge of, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Yardi, Workspeed, and REA required 
</li><li>
Valid Florida Real Estate Salesperson License beneficial but not required 
</li><li>
Valid Florida Drivers License and Insurance required 
</li><li>
Effective time management and organizational abilities</li><li>
Communicates professionally while understanding and addressing customer inquires and team needs 
</li><li>
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
