JOB SUMMARY
The Coordinator, Employer Relations and Office Operations is responsible for assisting with on-campus and virtual recruitment events and will oversee the posting of employment opportunities. Under the direction of the Associate Director for Employer Relations, Technology and Operations, the Coordinator assists in maintaining effective relationships with local, regional, and national employers to increase recruitment of college's students and recent graduates. This position will also provide trainings for student employees and supervisors of student employees. In addition to Employer Relations, this position will provide administrative support for the department by assisting with budget reporting, travel, career fair finances, and operations. Work is performed under general supervision and performance evaluation is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies &amp; Procedures.
 ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to: Associate Director for Employer Relations, Technology and Operations
Supervises: May supervise clerical employees and Student Assistants
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but not limited to the following:
<ul><li>Assists TWU supervisors with signing up for and posting student employee vacancies on TWU Connect/Handshake.
</li><li>Coordinates with Human Resources, Financial Aid, and other stakeholders to provide regular trainings for TWU supervisors on hiring and developing student employees.
</li><li>Coordinates with Human Resources, Financial Aid, and other stakeholders to provide regular trainings for students on how to find a job on campus and how to make the most of their student employment.
</li><li>Assists in coordination in virtual and in-person job, career and internship fairs.
</li><li>Maintains student/employer database and research outcomes/statistics.
</li><li>Works under direction of the Associate Director to establish new employer contacts and strengthen current employer contacts through outreach activities such as cold calls, mass mailings, and visits.
</li><li>Provides regular reports and assists with employer relations assessment efforts.
</li><li>Attends meetings and network at appropriate professional organizations.
</li><li>Responds to employer inquiries via email and phone.
</li><li>Handles career fair finances (includes creating &amp; disseminating invoices, collecting past due balances, and recording all financial transactions related to career fairs).
</li><li>Performs technical clerical work involving the exercise of independent judgment.
</li><li>Formulates procedures and methods in keeping with general policy.
</li><li>Responds to telephone questions and inquiries from visitors on departmental policies and procedures. Composes routine correspondence to students or the general public.
</li><li>Posts budget/bookkeeping information and prepares summary reports.
</li><li>Supports Director and leadership team with administrative tasks, including maintaining budget, office travel records, purchasing supplies, and providing other office operational support.
</li></ul>ADDITIONAL DUTIES
<ul><li>Greets and directs visitors, staff, faculty and students.
</li><li>Provides supervision and directs tasks for Career Connections student employees.
</li><li>Performs other duties as requested.
</li></ul>EDUCATION
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
2 years of experience in career services, recruiting, or sales and marketing. Must possess excellent customer service, interpersonal communication, and oral presentation skills. Additional related education may substitute for some of the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
REQUIREMENT
Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.

</li><li>Serves as a contact for prospective student-athletes and their coaches throughout the recruiting process including but not limited to phone calls, evaluations, and planning/coordinating on-campus visits.
</li><li>Facilitates student-athletes&rsquo; academic meetings, working closely with Compliance and Academic Services.
</li><li>Assists in the planning and execution of fundraising and alumni relations activities.
</li><li>Oversees the scheduling of the Pioneer Hall Pool, working closely with academics, visiting teams, summer camp needs and outside groups as applicable.
</li><li>Supervision and training of aquatics staff to include lifeguards and swim instructors.
</li><li>Responsible for the pool maintenance schedule and communication with maintenance vendors.
</li><li>Maintains and oversees equipment repairs, inventory, pool supplies and maintenance for the Pioneer Hall Pool.
</li><li>Maintains and updates a policies and procedure manual for Aquatics, to include the facility emergency action plan.
</li><li>Commits to and is responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations set forth for the team, the University, and USA Artistic Swimming with the utmost integrity.
</li><li>Works cooperatively with personnel in the athletics department and other campus partners, attend department meetings and activities, and always represents the University positively when interacting with the community, alumni, high school and club coaches, media and the general public.
</li><li>Completes other assigned administrative duties in a timely manner.

<ul><li>Attend seminars, conferences and other professional development opportunities.
</li><li>Implements Intercollegiate Athletics&rsquo; strategic plan as part of the Division of Student Life&rsquo;s strategic plan.

</li></ul>EDUCATION
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required.
 EXPERIENCE
Two years minimum of USA Artistic Swimming collegiate experience and/or experience in a highly competitive club system as a swimmer and/or coach.
REQUIREMENT
Valid Texas driver&rsquo;s license and a safe driving record such as required by the university for Driver&rsquo;s Authorization
Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.
Current certification in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automatic external defibrillator (AED) use and lifeguard certification is preferred at the time of hire and will be required prior to participation in any countable athletically related activities as defined by the NCAA.
Current Aquatic Facility Operator certification (or equivalent) is preferred at time of hire but can be obtained post hire as needed.
