The Legal Coordinator provides excellent customer service, administrative support, and process coordination throughout the Legal Department. The Legal Coordinator will assist on legal functions by managing end-to-end workflow processes, maintaining databases, conducting legal fact finding and research, as well as providing support to the business through various administrative duties. Legal Coordinators have exceptional organizational skills and a keen ability to prioritize work with little supervision to meet tight deadlines. They also possess good communication skills (both written and verbal), knowledge of the principles of legal confidentiality and security, and an ability to be diplomatic and tactful.</p><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>
25% Legal Process Support</li><li>
Responds to subpoenas &amp; routine discovery requests</li><li>
Monitor &amp; troubleshoot workflow processes</li><li>
Manage various procedures (e.g.liens, vendor setups, etc.)</li><li>
Process applications &amp; notices of legal violations</li><li>
Intake legal documents to process proper departmental disbursement</li><li>
Assist with corporate entity compliance</li><li>
25% Database Management</li><li>
Track compliance with Required fills in ELM tools</li><li>
Basic analysis and auditing of ELM reports and data fields</li><li>
Maintain and update documents and databases</li><li>
Support the creation of metrics reporting (ELM tools)</li><li>
Proficiency in accessing data through basic legal management software</li><li>
Gather information from legal and business databases to respond to inquiries</li><li>
25% Operational Support</li><li>
Prepare and track reports and budgets</li><li>
Create and draft presentations and letters</li><li>
Coordinate with other functional groups on various tasks and projects</li><li>
