<p></p><p><b>Role Summary</b></p>
<p>The IT Project Manager leads multi-disciplinary teams through the entire project lifecycle-from definition to implementation. This role requires a versatile leader capable of flexing between <b>Scrum Master, Project Manager, and Program Manager</b> functions. You will collaborate with internal IT subject matter experts, business partners, and external vendors to deliver complex application development projects on time and within budget.</p>
<p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul><li>Manage the full SDLC, ensuring projects meet agreed-upon scope, cost, schedule, and quality measures.</li>
<li>Serve as a Senior Scrum Master, diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory to lead software development teams.</li>
<li>Drive the transition from Waterfall to Agile environments, utilizing a strong background in SCRUM and Kanban.</li>
<li>Establish and execute effective communication plans with key stakeholders to define objectives, track deliverables, and manage risks/issues.</li>
<li>Provide day-to-day direction to project resources and ensure effective change management throughout the project lifecycle.</li>
<li>Responsible for all project documentation, status reporting, budget tracking, and time accounting.</li>
</ul><p></p><p><b>Required Skills &amp; Experience</b></p>
<ul><li>6+ years of proven experience as a <b>Scrum Master</b> leading software development teams.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience managing <b>Mainframe application projects</b> and transitioning from Mainframe to modern solutions (Client/Server, SaaS, etc.).</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of <b>Jira</b> and various Agile approaches (Scaled Agile/SAFe, Kanban, or Release Train Engineer).</li>
<li>Specialized knowledge of <b>MS Project</b>, Visio, Excel, and Word.</li>
<li>Prior experience successfully managing complex application development projects.</li>
<li>Exceptional negotiation, project planning, judgment, and problem-solving skills.</li>
</ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p>
<ul><li>Prior experience in <b>Transportation, Logistics, or Asset Management</b> is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience within the <b>Railroad industry</b>.</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage at the Program level while maintaining tactical project-level oversight.</li></ul></div><p></p>
