Mineral Resource Estimation and Modelling</b></p><ul><li><br>
 Lead the preparation, peer review, and formal sign-off of Mineral Resource estimates across</li><li><br>
 base and precious metal (Cu, Au, Ag, Zn, Pb, Cr) and multi-commodity projects.</li><li><br>
 Direct geological domain, wireframe modelling, radiography, and grade interpolation using industry-standard geo statistical methods (Ordinary Rigging, ID2/ID3, MIK, Uniform Conditioning, Simulation).</li><li><br>
 Oversee block model construction, grade capping/outlier analysis, resource classification (Inferred, Indicated, Measured), and formal model auditing.</li><li><br>
 Manage pit shell optimization (Whittle / Lerchs-Grossmann) and cut-off grade analysis to underpin RPEEE determinations for open pit and underground scenarios.</li><li><br>
 Collaborate with Mining Engineering on Ore Reserve conversion, reconciliation programs, and grade control model updates.</li><li><br>
 Ensure all resource models are documented, version-controlled, and fit-for-purpose for mine planning, feasibility studies, and investor reporting.</li></ul><p><b><br>
Regulatory Compliance and Reporting</b></p><ul><li><br>
 Act as, or directly supervise, the Competent Person (JORC 2012 / SAMREC) and Qualified Person (NI 43-101) for all disclosures of Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.</li><li><br>
 Prepare and review JORC Table 1 disclosures, NI 43-101 Technical Reports, and SAMREC-compliant reporting documents.</li><li><br>
 Maintain a company-wide compliance register tracking resource statement validity, and scheduled review dates.</li><li><br>
 Monitor amendments to JORC, NI 43-101, SAMREC, and emerging codes, updating internal standards and templates accordingly.</li><li><br>
 Support due diligence processes for project acquisitions, farm-ins, divestments, and royalty/streaming transactions.</li><li><br>
 Coordinate independent external resource audits and manage responses to auditor findings.</li></ul><p><b><br>
Team Leadership &amp; Technical Standards</b></p><ul><li><br>
 Recruit, develop, and lead a team of resource geologists, geo statisticians, and database specialists within the Exploration Department.</li><li><br>
 Champion Omani national talent development through structured mentoring, on-the-job training, and succession planning.</li><li><br>
 Establish and enforce company-wide resource estimation guidelines, QA/QC protocols, and data management standards.</li><li><br>
 Implement and maintain best-practice drill hole database management systems and model version control.</li><li><br>
 Conduct internal technical audits of resource estimates and data quality across the project portfolio.</li><li><br>
 Promote a culture of technical rigor, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing within the geology and technical services function.</li></ul><p><b><br>
Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Project Support</b></p><ul><li><br>
 Present resource updates, technical findings, and compliance status to the Senior Management and where it is required to the Board, Ministry of Energy and Minerals, and external investors.</li><li><br>
 Act as the primary technical interface with joint venture partners and international co-investors on resource and reserve matters.</li><li><br>
 Prepare resource-related content for annual reports, investor presentations, JORC/NI 43-101 technical reports, and regulatory submissions.</li><li><br>
 Support the evaluation of new project opportunities within Oman and abroad</li><li><br>
 Contribute to ESG reporting by providing transparent, accurate resource depletion and mine life data where required or requested by subsidiary companies or JV partners.</li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
Requirements</b></h3><p><b>
Qualifications &amp; Experience</b></p><ul><li><br>
 Bachelor's degree or higher in Geology, Geo statistics, or a related geo science discipline.</li><li><br>
 Minimum 12&ndash;15 years of progressive experience in mineral resource estimation, with at least 5 years in a senior, lead, or managerial capacity.</li><li><br>
 Formally credentialed Competent Person (CP) under JORC and/or SAMREC, and Qualified Person (QP) under NI 43-101, with a verifiable track record of signing off publicly disclosed Mineral Resource statements.</li><li><br>
 Demonstrated multi-commodity experience covering precious metals (Au, Ag) and base metals (Cu, Zn, Pb); familiarity with poly metallic NSR-based reporting is advantageous.</li><li><br>
 Advanced proficiency in resource estimation software: Leapfrog Geo/Edge, Micro mine, or equivalent industry platforms.</li><li><br>
 Expert-level geo statistical capability: experimental and modeled radiography, ringing (OK, SK, UK, IK), conditional simulation, and resource classification criteria.</li><li><br>
 Proven experience with pit shell optimization (Whittle, NPV Scheduler, Geovia) and open pit / underground cut-off grade analysis.</li><li><br>
 Thorough knowledge of JORC 2012, NI 43-101, and SAMREC reporting requirements, and experience preparing compliant technical documentation<br>
</li><li> Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills</li><li><br>
 Postgraduate qualification (MSc or PhD) in Geo statistics, Economic Geology, or a closely related discipline.</li><li><br>
 Membership of a recognized professional body: AusIMM (CP), AIG, SME (RM/RG), GSSA, or PGeo/P.Eng registration.</li><li><br>
 Working experience in the Middle East, Arabian Peninsula, or MENA region; familiarity with Oman's geological setting (politesse, VMS, snark, epidermal, cryogenic gold) is a distinct advantage.</li><li><br>
 Experience with underground stop optimization tools (MSO / EWS) for narrow-vein or massive sulfide deposits.</li><li><br>
 Exposure to resource-related M&amp;A due diligence, farm-in negotiations, or royalty transaction support.</li></ul></div><div></div>
