The Integrated Care Center Clinic is a federally qualified health centers that provide primary care, behavioral health, addiction treatment, psychiatry, dental care, and more. We provide care to those most in need including those who are suffering from homelessness, mental illness, substance use, mental illness, and chronic medical conditions. We provide team based care in an integrated care setting. JOB SUMMARY
 HealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit organization and a family of programs, is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services, including mental health care, residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and primary health services. Additionally, we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health, we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health, fostering resilience, and facilitating recovery.
 The HealthRIGHT 360 dental clinic provides compassionate, nonjudgmental comprehensive oral healthcare. Our supportive staff, experienced with the complex healthcare needs resulting from homelessness and poverty, is dedicated to serving the community.
 Working under the supervision of the Dental Director, the full time Staff Dentist provides professional, high-quality dental diagnosis, treatment and education to a broad range of patients five days per week. Provides hands-on dental care in a variety of settings while achieving the highest levels of appropriateness, quality, efficiency, accessibility and responsiveness.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Maintains full appointment schedule for office practice and other settings;</li>
<li>Provides a full range of general dental services within the dentist’s defined scope of training;</li>
<li>Utilizes state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment techniques;</li>
<li>Refers patients to specialists and relevant patient care components as appropriate;</li>
<li>Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications and treatment regimens as appropriate;</li>
<li>Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of dental technical and support staff as required;</li>
<li>Follows established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental and/or infection control standards;</li>
<li>Maintains necessary credentialing, licensure and continuing education requirements; and</li>
<li>Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
Education, Certification, and Experience
 <ul>
<li>DDS or DMD degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in general</li>
</ul>
dentistry.
 <ul>
<li>Current Dental licensure in the state of California.</li>
<li>Valid DEA license to prescribe narcotics.</li>
<li>Current First Aid & CPR certification.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge
 <ul>
<li>Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of modern dentistry and oral surgery.</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of dental terminology and dental science.</li>
<li>Thorough understanding of the theories, methods and procedures for the prevention of dental</li>
</ul>
diseases and the required corrective treatment.
 <ul>
<li>Knowledge of community-based dental environment.</li>
<li>Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of dental evaluations,</li>
</ul>
diagnosis and treatment.
 <ul>
<li>Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.</li>
<li>Knowledge of ethical and legal standards for the delivery of dental care.</li>
<li>Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aides and ability to prescribe</li>
</ul>
dosage and instruct patients in correct usage.
 
Desired: 
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with other community agencies in the Bay area to make appropriate referrals.</li>
<li>Understanding of harm reduction philosophy and ability to provide non-judgmental, client-centered services</li>
<li>Must complete background check and Livescan.</li>
<li>Covid-19 vaccine and booster is required for this position. Exemptions are not accepted.</li>
