 The Director &ndash; Cyber Security is accountable for providing strategic leadership for the GE Aerospace Cybersecurity Response Team (GCRT).  Roles and Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 In this role, the Director &ndash; Cyber Security leading the Global Cybersecurity Response Team (GCRT) will:

 Define and execute the global SOC and incident response strategy, aligned to enterprise risk, regulatory requirements, and business priorities to identify and mitigate cybersecurity threats
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead 24x7 SOC operations across regions, ensuring consistent detection, triage, containment, and recovery processes with clear escalation paths
 </li>
 <li>
 Design and develop incident response capabilities to increase effectiveness, integrating across architecture, detection engineering, SIEM, SOAR, endpoint, network, cloud, identity, email, OTN, and other platforms
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead major incident response efforts with some nontraditional working hours including technical actions to contain and remediate cybersecurity incidents and complete forensic investigations
 </li>
 <li>
 Operate a hybrid SOC model with clear roles and responsibilities while managing performance oversight and accountability of strategic MDR partners and incident response service providers
 </li>
 <li>
 Benchmark program capabilities against industry standards and peer organizations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for data protection and cybersecurity.

 <li>
 Stay informed with the latest trends and technologies in cybersecurity to continuously enhance the organization's defenses.

 The base pay range for this position is $152,000.00 - $210,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate&rsquo;s experience, education, and skill set.  The Maryland Higher Education Commission's Office of Budget and Administration is responsible for the overall fiscal and budgetary coordination for the agency including procurement; accounts payable/receivable; payroll; budget formulation and submission; and fiscal year end close-out. The Office is also responsible for accurately recording and processing financial transactions for all fund sources for the agency.
 
 
 The Accountant I position serves as the accounts payable and accounts receivable expert for the agency. The position ensures the bond re-payment program is accurately reconciled and recorded in MHEC's Bond repayment software. The Commission collects over $24 million in revenue each fiscal year and this position ensures all agency revenues are deposited timely and coded/allocated to the proper programs. The position also leads a clerical accounts receivable position within the budget division. The employee must demonstrate excellent customer service and follow up to students under the scholarship repayment program. Develop reports for external agencies and constituent groups.  POSITION DUTIES
 
 
 
 The main purpose of this position is to provide professional accounting support to all the Regional Finance Offices across the Division of Financial Services in various areas to include budget preparation, monthly expenditure projections, policy implementations, incarcerated individual finance, assist with ensuring legislative audit compliance, and support for the year-end closing process to all department's regional finance offices.
 
 
 This position provides the lead level of work examining, analyzing and interpreting accounting systems, records and reports by applying generally accepted accounting principles in order to modify and maintain accounting systems, prepare financial reports or statements, and give financial advice to management.
 
 
 
 Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

 Provide support to the Regional Finance Offices through knowledge of FMIS and MOBS II.
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of all aspects of Incarcerated Individual finance operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for preparing the annual operating budget request, discusses needs, priorities, and budgetary constraints with the agency head and other appropriate staff according to the guidelines set forth by the Budget Office.

 Responsible for preparing budget projection and reviewing the projection with the agency head and/or designees.

 Education :
