About the job</div><div>
Reporting to the Director of Cleantech Markets, the Cleantech Engineering Intern will play a key role in advancing our cleantech business development initiatives by conducting research, creating technical content, and engaging with cross-functional teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in sustainability solutions and contribute to our mission of helping customers achieve their sustainability goals.</div><div></div><div>

As part of the team, you will:</div><ul><li><div>
Conduct research to understand the identified cleantech market drivers, trends, potential, customers and policies.</div></li><li><div>
Develop technical market and application-based content that effectively communicates our sustainability story and product value.</div></li><li><div>
Support ad hoc projects across the team, contributing insights, analysis, and problem-solving.</div></li><li><div>
Learn and follow established sales processes, gaining hands-on experience with how Alfa Laval promotes and sells its products and services.</div></li><li><div>
Develop the ability to identify customer needs by learning how to investigate and determine the correct products for each inquiry.</div></li><li><div>
Support in reviewing customer requirements and learning how to select and size equipment using Alfa Laval&rsquo;s software tools. Contribute to preparing proposal packages, including technical information, pricing details, and basic equipment documentation.</div></li><li><div>
Explore upselling opportunities by learning how to recognize additional products or services that may benefit the customer.</div></li><li><div>
Engage with customers under guidance, helping ensure they understand the value of the proposed solution and that it aligns with their needs.</div></li><li><div>
Build confidence using CRM and sales tools, learn how consistent, high-quality data supports the sales process, and inform business decisions. What you know:</div><div>
You are a rising college senior pursuing a degree in Chemical or Mechanical, Engineering, with a strong interest in sustainability driven by advanced process technology, and you bring:</div><ul><li><div>
A curious, collaborative, and proactive mindset with a desire to learn and take on new challenges.</div></li><li><div>
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.</div></li><li><div>
Basic technical understanding of heat transfer</div></li><li><div>
