Role Overview: 
We are looking for a strategically minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team during a period of rapid expansion. You will be a critical partner to our leadership team, providing the data-driven insights needed to scale our footprint, optimize our service mix (boarding, daycare, and grooming), and ensure every new location reaches profitability quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational FP&amp;A &amp; Performance Management:<ul><li>
Lead the annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecast processes, ensuring accuracy as the business scales.</li><li>
Partner with Operations to track and optimize the Labor Cost Percentage, aiming for the industry benchmark of 25%&ndash;50% of revenue.</li><li>
Monitor and report on high-impact KPIs: Occupancy Rate (target 80%+), Average Revenue Per Client (ARPC), and Dog-to-Staff Ratios.</li></ul>
Hyper-Growth Modeling &amp; Expansion Support:<ul><li>
Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate new site viability, including pro-forma P&amp;Ls for potential acquisitions or new builds.</li><li>
Analyze &quot;speed of occupancy ramp&quot; for new locations to predict cash flow needs and break-even timelines.</li></ul>
Strategic Insights &amp; Unit Economics:<ul><li>
Conduct deep-dive analyses into service-line profitability (e.g., boarding vs. daycare packages vs. add-on enrichment services).</li><li>
Identify opportunities for margin improvement through pricing strategies and upselling initiatives.</li><li>
Evaluate Marketing ROI and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) vs. Lifetime Value (LTV) to guide growth spend.</li></ul>
Process Automation &amp; Reporting:<ul><li>
Establish and automate weekly &quot;Flash Reports&quot; and executive dashboards to provide real-time visibility into multi-unit performance.</li><li>
Refine financial policies and internal controls to maintain data integrity during rapid scaling.</li></ul>
Other Duties:<ul><li>
Work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and accounting teams</li><li>
Gather and validate data from multiple systems and sources</li><li>
Create and present findings to stakeholders</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Experience: 2+ years of experience in Finance or FP&amp;A, ideally in multi-unit retail, hospitality, or pet services.</li><li>
Technical Skills: Mastery of Excel and proficiency with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or specialized pet-care software.</li><li>
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA or CPA preferred.</li><li>
Soft Skills: Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced &quot;start-up&quot; environment and communicate complex data to non-financial stakeholders (e.g., Facility Managers).</li></ul>
