<div><p>The Juvenile Division is seeking attorneys with experience in criminal law, preferably with prior juvenile/felony level filing cases, negotiating cases, and trial experience. The attorney will be responsible for vertically handling a large caseload of juvenile criminal matters. This attorney will be expected to effectively file, negotiate and try cases. The candidate should demonstrate an interest in applying Restorative Justice practices. Juvenile Division attorneys are also encouraged and expected to engage in community outreach as needed.<br>

The purpose of JHS is to assure that high-quality health and human services are available to the incarcerated population in the King County adult correctional facilities: the King County Correctional Facility (KCCF) in Seattle and the Maleng Regional Justice Center (MRJC) in Kent. The JHS vision is Opening doors to healthier, happier lives, and the mission is to assess and stabilize serious health problems for the detained population of the King County Correctional Facility and the Maleng Regional Justice Center with a focus on transition from jail.</p><p>
Staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year, JHS provides a broad range of health care to all individuals booked into the jails. For patients with serious mental health or medical conditions, special housing units (psychiatric and infirmary) along with a higher level of services and medical monitoring are provided. The King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a <b>Training and Development Manager.</b> The Victim Services Training and Development Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, evaluation, and oversight of comprehensive training programs that support employee growth, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational goals. In this role, you will work independently to lead complex training initiatives and collaborate closely with department leadership, subject matter experts, and external partners to ensure high-quality, consistent learning experiences. You will also lead efforts to assess training &amp; evaluations needs, develop instructional strategies, facilitate training, and implement systems that promote continuous learning and professional development. This includes curriculum design, managing cross-functional projects, facilitating internal and external partnerships, and ensuring training and evaluation programs are data-informed, equitable, and aligned with best practices in adult learning and instructional design. This position will work closely with the Director of Victim Services, the Victim Services Project/Program Manager and the Data &amp; Analytics Team to ensure alignment between training, service delivery expectations, and evaluation measures.
