 Responsibilities

 Prepare and set up the operatory for oral surgery procedures (extractions, implants, bone grafts, biopsies, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist the oral surgeon chairside with suctioning, passing instruments, and anticipating procedural needs
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor patient vitals and support sedation or anesthesia protocols as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide detailed post-operative instructions and ensure patients understand follow-up care
 </li>
 <li>
 Take and process digital X-rays and imaging required for surgical planning
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and OSHA/HIPAA compliance
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage and order surgical supplies and maintain operatory organization
 </li>
 <li>
 Accurately chart procedures, treatment notes, and patient history in the dental software
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to ensure seamless patient care and scheduling

Job Description:
Rounds with previous shift staff to receive report on care given to patients. Delivers care using the mission, vision, and value statements, incorporating patient-centric behaviors daily. Promotes timely patient placement by following hospital policy for patient admission, discharge, and transfer. Provides care to patients in accordance with standards of care, including assistance with hygiene, comfort, and activities of daily living. Transports patients, medical records, and equipment within scheduled time frames, and assists in positioning, lifting, and ambulating patients using safety precautions.
