JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Bookkeeper is responsible for the financial operations of tenant accounts and vendor payments, and completes general clerical duties relative to billing, accounts receivable/payable, or other business-related transactions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Prepares reports of expenditures and invoice payments, and balances ledgers.
2. Maintains records of all applicable transactions.
3. Maintains owner/tenant/vendor files with proper financial documentation.
4. Pays vendors and all invoices related to the property in a timely manner and from appropriate accounts, forwarding bills to the appropriate manager for signature and review.
5. Complete and provide end-of-month financial statements for property owners, accounting for every cent utilized in the management of the property and calculating the appropriate management fees.
6. Interacts with owners, tenants, and vendors on a regular basis, along with interacting with other property management staff to meet client&rsquo;s needs.
7. Process rent payments, three-day notices, and collections.
8. Process of move-out dispositions.
9. Assistant to the accounting, billing, or a related department.
10. Manage leasing processes, including applications, screenings, and move-ins/outs: ledger posting and corrections.
