Faculty at Texas A&amp;M University Qatar Campus (TAMUQ) are of two types: instructional track and research track. This position is a research-track position at the assistant level. The official title for this position is Research Assistant Professor, with the working title of Engineering Assistant Professor. Research-track faculty at TAMUQ are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and develop an independent research program, as well as to engage through scholarship within the university and their discipline.
 
 
 This non-tenure track position assumes a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of Spring 2024 or Fall 2024, depending on the applicant's availability. The hired faculty member is eligible to receive a startup package that covers the summer salary for three years.
