A day in the life of a Large Loss Field Property Adjuster, and what it takes to do the job!
As a Large Loss Field Property Adjuster, you will provide exceptional service to our policyholders. Your primary responsibility will involve traveling to our customers' homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly and efficiently. Additionally, you will handle virtual claims countrywide, leveraging various platforms and software such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration. Your expertise will be particularly focused on large scale fire and water losses, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support and resolution for these specific claims.

4+ years&rsquo; previous experience as an outside adjuster is highly desired.</li><li>
Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $100,000 in losses.</li><li>

Base compensation offered for this role is $82,000-$117,700 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

Responsible for conducting focused claim reviews and identifying and facilitating claim adjustments based on results found through Community Health Plan of Washington claim reviews or as identified by internal Community Health Plan of Washington departments. Responsible for sustaining processes and executing process improvement and quality monitoring. Responsible for contacting providers regarding negative balance collections.

Additionally, the role involves investigating and resolving escalated claims issues raised by internal Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) departments and committees. The incumbent monitors departmental compliance with state and CMS requirements, including managing the collection and submission of operational performance metrics and required data reporting. Finally, the position serves as a subject matter expert for Claims Recovery, contributing to companywide or specialized projects to improve processes and ensure accurate claims management.

To be successful in this role, you:
<ul>
<li>Have minimum two (2) years claims operations experience required, with proven broad knowledge and execution of quality improvement methods and tools or related experience. Experience in managed care preferred.</li>
<li>Have Medicaid Coordination of Benefits (COB) and Medicare Secondary Payor (MSP) experience preferred.</li>
<li>Have prior experience encouraging timely repayment from providers preferred.</li>
<li>Possess an understanding of the healthcare industry, specifically in the Operations area.</li>

This position is a specialist role for the institutional clinical research billing and revenue cycle management within the CTO Clinical Research Budget and Billing (CRBB) program. The position will require experience in systems complexity, including OnCore and its interface with Epic, understanding and operationalizing a billing grid, and other systems designed to improve and enhance institutional and multi-institutional clinical research billing and post-award services and support. Ability to work collaboratively in a group setting in a fast-paced environment is crucial in this role.
Clinical Trials Office is a central clinical research operation with compliance responsibilities and services across the vast portfolio of clinical trials in UW Medicine. The CTO operation has direct impact on UW reputation with major global biotech and biopharma sponsors, the availability of funded clinical trial opportunities in UW pipeline, and UW patients' access to novel therapies. In addition, the CTO plays a key role in mitigating institutional financial and reputational risks by ensuring strict compliance with the CMS and the FDA regulations and guidelines. CTO Clinical Research Billing Specialist is a key position in maintaining secure and fully compliant CTO operation.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Clinical Research Billing Specialist position will enable the Clinical Research Billing Manager and Lead to coordinate and engage in the planning and implementation of new processes and systems without negatively impacting day-to-day unit management, responsiveness to customer concerns, proper training of new and existing members of the team and quality control of the unit's output. This position will provide appropriate handling of customer concerns possible due to the incumbent's extensive experience. The role will assist in managing the significant change CRBB has undergone and will assist in planning for and accommodating the new work and work flows that will be outcomes of upcoming systems changes (e.g., CTMS Target 3 rollout). The Clinical Research Billing Specialist will:
<ul><li>Support Billing team through day-to-day problem-solving in collaboration with or in the absence of Clinical Research Billing Manager and Lead;

</li><li>Assist in development of content for CRBB website and outreach documents
