<p>
The Accounts Payable Specialist assists the Accounts Payable department with general accounting duties. The Accounts Payable Specialist also deals with administrative duties in the accounting office.</p>
<p>
The pay rate for this position is $26.77-$32.12/hour.</p>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Set up Vendors; with the knowledge of 1099-Misc IRS guidelines</li>
<li>Distribute incoming mail for approvals</li>
<li>Daily processing of vendor invoices, General Ledger coding and project coding verification in Deltek and ORAA for multiple companies</li>
<li>Enter high volume invoices for multiple subsidiaries; verify authorized approvers</li>
<li>General Ledger coding and project coding verification</li>
<li>Check and verify all voucher edits, correct and post journals; non-manual check registers</li>
<li>Complete bank transactions &ndash; initiate ACH payments and process manual check payments</li>
<li>Select and cut checks for multiple companies on a weekly basis; attach backup and file</li>
<li>Complete 1099&rsquo;s - reconcile ledgers, review edit reports, print 1099&rsquo;s</li>
<li>Review travel, per diem, mileage, employee reimbursements and Corp Credit Card expense reports in Deltek for payments</li>
<li>Process Mail outs &ndash; certified, regular and other ways of mailing items</li>
<li>Research and resolve outstanding balances on invoices and statements</li>
<li>Promptly and professionally handle the queries and requests of fellow employees and vendors, in person, through telephone or email communications</li>

Perform complex account follow-up activities by working aged receivables and utilizing A/R reports in revenue cycle management systems.</li><li>
