What You&rsquo;ll Need<ul><li>
Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Experience: At least three years in software development, with a focus on application development, databases, distributed systems, or similar technologies.</li><li>
Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills. Solid understanding of relational databases and familiarity with the NoSQL databases space.</li><li>
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.</li><li>
Community Engagement: Experience engaging with developer communities, whether through public speaking, writing, or online forums.</li></ul>
What Will Give You an Edge

Existing Content Experience: Existing YouTube channel with technical content published that shows your ability as content creator and tech evangelist. Good social media following from past engagements.</li><li>
Vector Databases and AI: Knowledge of vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and experience in applied AI engineering. Knowledge of frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex.</li><li>
Cloud and On-Premise Experience: Experience working in both cloud-based (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and on-premise service and technology environments.</li></ul>
The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $209,956&ndash; $262,489 per year in New York, California, Washington, Colorado, and Rhode Island. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate&rsquo;s work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis&rsquo; total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
