Advanced Construction Technology Services

Technical &amp; Engineering Duties<ul><li>Lead geotechnical site investigations, including borehole logging, sampling, and in-situ testing.</li><li>Act as the main link between the client, site, and the technical teams, ensuring effective communication and timely issue resolution.</li><li>Validate field data, prepare logs, and support accurate and complete technical reports.</li><li>Perform geotechnical design and analysis (foundations, retaining structures, slopes, ground improvement).</li><li>Provide recommendations for foundation systems and ground improvement techniques.</li><li>Coordinate with HGD for testing samples for the geotechnical Division and the schedule of such testing.</li><li>Oversee rock testing, ensuring proper sample handling, adherence to standards, and equipment calibration.</li><li>Supervise soil and groundwater sampling and support environmental data reporting.</li><li>Coordinate with the external laboratories to ensure timely and organised testing results.</li><li>Sign and approve testing work orders and reports for the laboratory on behalf of the Geotechnical Division</li><li>Assess geotechnical risks and propose mitigation measures.</li></ul>Project Management<ul><li>Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authority</li><li>Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.</li><li>Ensure projects are delivered on time</li></ul>Quality, Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Ensure compliance with local and international standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, Eurocodes).</li><li>Implement QA/QC procedures for field and laboratory work.</li><li>Attend different quality audits (ISO &amp; internal audits)</li><li>Understanding of ISO 17025, QA/QC procedures, and audit requirements</li></ul>Leadership &amp; Mentoring<ul><li>Provide technical guidance to site supervisors, junior engineers, geologists, and technicians.</li><li>Review and validate work outputs of team members.</li><li>Support training and development initiatives within the team.</li></ul>Client &amp; Business Development<ul><li>Support proposal preparation and tender submissions.</li><li>Maintain strong client relationships and provide technical advisory services.</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering</li><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred)</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 6 years of experience in geotechnical engineering</li><li>Experience in large infrastructure or construction projects</li><li>GCC/Qatar experience is an advantage</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation methods, testing methods, and data systems, with awareness of international standards.</li><li>Experience with geotechnical software (e.g., gINT, PLAXIS, GeoStudio)</li><li>Familiarity with site investigation techniques and lab testing</li></ul>Candidate who are interested to apply, please submit their application by using the link below.https://hr.acts-int.net/Applicants/CreateJob Type: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:<ul><li>Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
