The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy treatments to patients, with a particular focus on manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), post-operative rehabilitation, and maderotherapy/body contouring therapies. The successful candidate will provide safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with Qatar Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) regulations, professional standards, and clinic policies.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.</li><li>Provide Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) for patients with lymphedema, post-operative swelling, and edema management.</li><li>Deliver post-operative rehabilitation for cosmetic and reconstructive surgery patients, including liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast surgery, and other aesthetic procedures.</li><li>Perform maderotherapy (wood therapy) for body contouring, lymphatic stimulation, and cellulite reduction where clinically indicated.</li><li>Apply appropriate manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.</li><li>Educate patients on home exercise programs, self-care techniques, and recovery plans.</li><li>Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.</li><li>Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).</li></ul>Patient Care<ul><li>Ensure patient safety, dignity, privacy, and confidentiality at all times.</li><li>Obtain informed consent before treatment.</li><li>Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment goals and expected outcomes.</li><li>Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.</li><li>Valid license/eligibility to practice as a Physiotherapist in Qatar (DHP/MOPH) or eligibility to obtain licensure.</li><li>Certification or documented training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD).</li><li>Certification or formal training in Maderotherapy (Wood Therapy) is highly desirable.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of clinical physiotherapy experience.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in:</li><li>Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)</li><li>Post-operative physiotherapy following plastic and reconstructive surgery</li><li>Maderotherapy (Wood Therapy)</li><li>Edema and lymphedema management</li><li>Manual therapy techniques</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.</li><li>Professional appearance and patient-centered approach.</li><li>Good documentation and computer skills.</li><li>Commitment to continuous professional development.</li></ul>Language Requirements<ul><li>Arabic speaker preferred.</li><li>Good command of English (spoken and written) is required.</li></ul>Preferred Candidate Profile<ul><li>Experience working in aesthetic, plastic surgery, dermatology, or wellness clinics.</li><li>Knowledge of post-cosmetic surgery rehabilitation protocols.</li><li>Strong patient education and customer service skills.</li></ul>Work Location: In person
