MAJOR / KEY JOB DUTIES

</li><li>Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
</li><li>Ensures housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas are maintained to company standard while in use.

Summary: The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for supervising and ensuring efficient operations of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with brand and company standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor as needed.<ul><li>
Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising all housekeeping staff in coordination with Assistant General Manager.</li><li>
Responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms, back of house and public areas (including dining areas and meeting space), and for reporting to the maintenance department any deficiency in any room or public area, and all out of order equipment. Inspect all areas daily for cleanliness and adherence to Legacy/brand standards.</li><li>
Ensure that all guest rooms cleaned to appropriate standards and inspected after they have been cleaned daily.</li><li>
Schedule and manage ongoing deep cleaning activities and special projects weekly.</li><li>
Handles guest questions and comments in a friendly and courteous manner. Ensure guest requests are accommodated within 15 minutes.</li><li>
Schedule housekeeping staff in accordance with occupancy forecasts.</li><li>
Report all discrepancies found on the night auditor&rsquo;s room report. Reports all incidents or strange occurrences that could be an indication of misconduct or illegal activity. Ensure that all key cards are returned to the secure designated area or front desk.</li><li>
Maintain lost &amp; found and records associated with it daily.</li><li>
Control all linen and uniforms. Takes monthly inventories of all linen; order required linen and supplies when necessary with the approval of General Manager.</li><li>
Knowledge of other departments, willingness to help &ndash; a team player.</li><li>
Act a liaison between front desk and housekeeping, and maintenance and housekeeping.</li><li>
