Requirements:

 </p><p><b>Human Resources Administrative Assistant Suppor </b>t <b>Responsibilities Include:
</b></p><ul><li>The Administrative Assistant Support shall work with the Civil Service Human Resources Office (CSHRM) to manage intern and fellowship programs. These include unpaid domestic and overseas interns, Pickering and Rangel Fellows, U.S. Foreign Service interns, and Foreign Affairs Information Technology (FAIT) fellows.
</li><li>Interact with members of the Student Internship Office, supervisors in domestic offices, Human Resources Officers at overseas posts and students to place interns and fellows during the school year (spring, summer, and fall).
</li><li>Manage the annual leave restoration program, working with employees and Human Resources Officers to track employee leave restoration requests.
</li><li>The HR Assistant shall serve as the backup to the Bureau Awards Coordinator, assisting with the processing of incoming award nominations for bureau employees.
</li><li>The HR Assistant shall work with the Bureau HR Specialists to process incoming Entry on Duty (EOD) documents for incoming Eligible Family Member appointments.
</li><li>Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

General Summary of Position</b><br>
Provides patient care to an assigned group of patients according to an established plan of care under the direction and supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse. These functions are performed in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and Georgetown University Hospital's philosophy policies procedures and standards</p><p><b>
Primary Duties and Responsibilities</b></p><br>
<p></p><ul><li>
Implements patients' plan of care as directed by the RN reporting information and findings to the RN and offering suggestions for revision of the plan of care as appropriate.</li><li>
Provides direct bedside care to patients as assigned inclusive of but not limited to: performs the activities of daily living bathing skin care toileting mouth care feeding and range of motion; assisting with ambulation mobilization and rehabilitation; assistance with crutches and walkers; and transporting of patients in wheelchairs and stretchers.</li><li>
Performs routine sterile and non-sterile treatments and other treatments identified by Unit/Hospital policy inclusive of but not limited to: tube feedings; ostomy care; Foley Catheter care; IV insertion/ monitoring/care; venipuncture; EKG; simple dressing changes and wound care; maintenance of drainage tubes with/without pump or suction; point of care testing; care of oxygen equipment ; and assistance with the application maintenance and removal of traction casts splints and exercise equipment.</li><li>
Participates in patient/family teaching as directed.</li><li>
Reports/records/documents information in designated areas of the medical record or via computerized systems according to established guidelines.</li><li>
Maintains a safe and orderly patient/unit environment.</li><li>
Contributes to the development and implementation of unit objectives.</li><li>
Participates in quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Relieves Unit Secretary due to volume absence and other operational needs inclusive of stocking and ordering medical and non-medical supplies to maintain adequate inventory on the units.</li><li>
Exemplifies C2C standards in all activities.</li><li>

Minimal Qualifications</b><br>

High School Diploma or GED required</li><li>
Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant Program (CNA) preferred</li><li>

Experience</b></p><ul><li>
1-2 years experience as a certified nursing assistant or related health care experience in an acute care setting preferred</li></ul><p><b>
Licenses and Certifications</b></p><ul><li>
CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required</li><li>
Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.</li><li>
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred</li></ul><p><b>
