 20% - Workday - Review and approve changes to employee and organizational data in the HRIS, including new hires, pay and data changes. Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant data. Correct actions already processed. Create and edit job profiles.
 
 
 40% - HR Helpdesk - Field employee and HRBP questions and requests promptly and with a high level of customer service. Field former employee questions and external requests such as employment verifications and unemployment claims. Provides answers and investigates questions when necessary. Escalates questions/issues to the appropriate HR contact as needed, and ensures SLAs are met.
 
 
 30% - New Hire Onboarding - First point of contact for new hires, fielding questions and troubleshooting issues to ensure a positive onboarding experience. Monitors background checks. Ensures employee onboarding paperwork, including I-9s, is completed and processed timely and in compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant labor laws.
 
 
 10/% - Assisting HR team with tasks, projects, reporting and administrative tasks as requested.

Job Summary:
CASES is currently seeking a Night Assistant Team Leader to join a new initiative, the Intensive Services Unit (ISU) within the Pretrial Services Department. In their role, the Night Assistant Team Leader will provide direct supervision and clinical support to four (4) staff members during the night shift in Manhattan Criminal Court. The oversight will be of a unique team who are building and maintaining a caseload from the courtroom to the community nightly. The Night Assistant Team Leader will assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the team with the additional support of the Director of Arraignments.
The Intensive Services Unit (ISU) initiative will implement innovative approaches to working with individuals who have been placed in the Supervised Release Program and experience more extensive needs and challenges that may impact daily functioning and overall program engagement. The ideal candidate for this position will work well as part of a coordinated clinical team actively assisting all team members. The focus group of program participants manage challenges in mental health, substance use, employment, and medical health.  The HR Generalist will serve as an HR Business partner and trusted resource to associates and people managers, primarily supporting the New York Buying Office. Operating in a generalist capacity, this role provides hands-on HR guidance across a range of areas including associate relations, manager coaching, policy interpretation, and day-to-day inquiries.

 The base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000.  What You Will Do And What You Will Learn...

 Provide HR support to assigned client group, including but not limited to: Investigating and resolving Associate concerns, providing guidance and coaching to managers on handling performance concerns

 You will also serve as key point of contact and counsel for Associates and Managers on a broad range of HR policies

 Act as trusted source of information and as counsellor to Associates, by playing a front-line role in answering HR questions and escalating issues as needed
