HED | IDEAS &ndash; Interior Design Intern
HED | IDEAS (Intern Development for Engineering and Architecture Students) is an approximate 10-week program that provides aspiring A/E professionals real-world work experiences that introduces them to the many diverse components of an A/E firm. The experience is intended to complement and support their academic learning experience.
Interns contribute to one or more of HED&rsquo;s nine market sectors. Project work exposure can vary, from planning and concept development, through design and production and construction administration. Interns also attend a series of workshops that provide introductions to the intricacies of integrated practice, project management, programming, business development and marketing, all crucial to the successful operations of an A/E firm.

Position Summary:
As an Interior Design Intern at HED, you are beginning your professional experience by contributing to interior design projects through research, documentation, and creative support. Working under direct supervision, you assist project teams with day-to-day design tasks while gaining exposure to an integrated design environment. This role is designed to provide hands-on learning that complements academic training, preparing you for a future role in professional interior design practice.
