Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
The Pharmacy Buyer is responsible for managing the pharmaceutical inventory in the assigned hospital including purchasing of pharmaceuticals and related products, oversight of receipt and placing these items in stock, optimization of pharmacy inventory both in the facility pharmacy and automated cabinets. This position ensures that all pharmaceutical products are appropriately labeled with barcodes including repackaging of products for patient administration. The buyer works with the director and clinical team to ensure formulary compliance and maintains contract compliance. The Buyer assist the automation coordinator or individual in similar role with respect to Automated Dispensing Cabinet (ADU) inventory management including the maintenance of controlled substance inventory and handling the request for an addition of new items to the pharmacy inventory. The Pharmacy Buyer also assists in training personnel on inventory handling and overseeing workflow in the pharmacy when the tech supervisor or pharmacy manager is unavailable.<h6 class="jobSectionHeader">

Roles and Responsibilities</h1>
Responsible for all supply chain management activities within his/her project for all BOP equipment and spare parts. This results in the preparation &amp; application of common approach such as but not limited to defining and applying of the contract requirements within the project (i.e. sourcing restrictions; financing restrictions etc.) for BOP.<ul><li>
Coordinates on- and offshore procurement activities including turnkey sub-contracts.</li><li>
Develops Engineering Procurement Plan (EPP) and project-specific sourcing concept for each assigned project</li><li>
In close collaboration with the Project Engineering Manager (PEM) and PM, reviews and updates the purchasing strategy (i.e. top ten list, EPP) and the project specific sourcing concept (procurement concept)</li><li>
Verifies budget with Project Finance Manager and resolves budget allocation discrepancies</li><li>
Executes large commercial transactions through supplier negotiation and competitive bidding in accordance with GE Vernova purchase policies</li><li>
Comments on baseline project schedule and works closely with project scheduler throughout the project to optimize procurement activities</li><li>
Understands the commercial part of the EPC contract and issues the project related purchasing conditions (PRPC) accordingly</li><li>
Ensures that suppliers meet all contractual requirements related to documentation including shipping documents, end of manufacturing reports, certificates</li><li>
Ensures that supplier quality / expediting has established the supplier monitoring-concept</li><li>
Responsible for ERP rollout and necessary vendor extensions for the legal entity which will be used for PO issuance based on contractual legal chart</li><li>
Updates vendor list and ensures client&rsquo;s approval in close collaboration with project engineering manager (PEM) and the Project Director (PD)</li><li>
Controls timely issuance of the purchase orders within budget</li><li>
Supports Contract Manager and ensures vendor recovery as needed</li><li>
Supports Buyer in invoices release, warranty and bonds management, as well as in the most prominent order negotiations (high value; critical contract set-up) when and if required</li><li>
Participates in weekly meetings with the project quality manager, PEM, lead engineers, scheduler and PM/PD to review procurement progress and generates the weekly PO progress review minutes of meeting</li><li>
Ensures compliance with the quality and EHS rules from the project, business, sector and corporate within the project for Balance of Plant products</li><li>
Initial contact for all commercial, legal, administrative and organizational plant procurement issues, however limited to the mechanical &amp; electrical BoP of the project assigned to him/her related to supply chain management</li><li>
Primary owner for the following KPIs: Project EAC (cost estimate at completion), OTD (on time delivery)</li><li>
Tracks complete and on-time delivery of the technical specifications in collaboration with the PEM</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">
Required Qualifications</h1><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited university or college</li><li>
7 years experience in manufacturing, operations, supply chain or project management</li><li>
Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time, as required</li><li>

The base pay range for this position is $108K - $120K USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 3/10/2026, or thereafter.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
