Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Landscape Architect to join our Design team in Qatar! In this role you will have the opportunity to develop the landscape architecture design for public realm, roadways, public parks, planning and infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
<ul><li>Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities independently.
</li><li>Independently performs a wide variety of conventional and complex assignments by applying landscape architecture design standards, practices, and techniques which requires a fundamental knowledge of landscape, planting and irrigation design, and aesthetics.
</li><li>The incumbent at this level is required to regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in developing original designs and is proficient in the utilization of standard landscape architectural techniques.
</li><li>Performs a variety of assignments such as conducting landscape architectural studies, developing design concepts and design criteria, and preparing related reports. Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
</li><li>Develops design solutions and prepares high quality presentation drawings, renderings, 3D models and animations with the assistance of other team members.
</li><li>Provides technical guidance to CADD Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
</li><li>Prepares technical packages from concept design, through detailed design to tender and contract documentation.
</li></ul>What Required Skills You'll Bring:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in landscape architecture required. Other related experience not accepted.
</li><li>Minimu 5 years relevant landscape design experience.
</li><li>Preferably with the design work experience in Qatar, UAE, KSA or Middle East.
</li><li>Proficient in utilizing AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
</li><li>Proficient graphic capabilities in both Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator &amp; Photoshop) and SketchUp &amp; Lumion is required.

Principal Landscape Architect

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Landscape Architect to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the design of both hard and soft landscape for architectural and urban design projects .
What You'll Be Doing:
<ul><li>Able to demonstrate ability to lead a team throughout all stages of the design process and undertake the above responsibilities with minimal supervision.
</li><li>Assists with performing a wide variety of conventional and complex assignments by applying landscape irrigation design standards, practices, and techniques which require a fundamental knowledge of landscape, planting and primarily irrigation design.
</li><li>The incumbent at this level is required to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in developing original designs and is proficient in the utilization of standard landscape irrigation techniques.
</li><li>Performs a variety of assignments such as conducting landscape irrigation studies, developing design concepts, design criteria, and preparing related reports. Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.

</li><li>Prepares and conducts presentations to clients and various government agencies for approval.
</li><li>Provides leadership, support and production assistance to team members.
</li><li>Performs quality assurance, quality control and enforcement of standards, policies and procedures.
</li><li>Calculates manpower requirements and level of effort for each stage of the project.
</li><li>Completes other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>What Required Skills You'll Bring:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s Degree in Landscape Architecture required.
</li><li>A minimum of 15 years&rsquo; experience in landscape architecture, preferably with work experience in the GCC.
</li><li>Professional Licensed Landscape Architect (active status) is required.
</li><li>ASLA Member.
</li><li>MMUP/UPDA Certification or ability to obtain is necessary.
</li><li>Proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required.
</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, Land F/X, Lumion and Illustrator.
</li><li>Knowledge of 3DS Max and V-Ray is essential.
</li><li>Experience in ACC platform.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Landscape Architect to join our team! In this role you will have the opportunity for the overall supervision of the landscape architecture design for public realm, roadways, public parks, planning and infrastructure projects.
What You'll be Doing:
<ul><li>The underlying focus of the Senior Landscape Architect should be providing the utmost satisfaction to the client via ensuring projects are functional, aesthetically pleasing, code compliant, completed within the allocated period of time and within the budget that has been assigned.
 </li><li>Expected to operate under a certain degree of autonomy using the staff and resources allocated to them to provide high quality service to the client. Directly accountable to the project&rsquo;s Project Manager and ultimately accountable to the Landscape Design Manager. Required to maintain strong client relationships, meet project financial goals, and ensure the project team is providing high levels of client service and satisfaction.
</li><li>Take a lead on design of both hard and soft landscape for architectural and urban design projects as well as competitions. They will work closely with design groups and external landscape consultants to support project teams in creating sustainable landscape designs; Promote good landscape design throughout the practice; research and advise on indigenous/suitable vegetation on projects; Manage the design teams through the research into project specific landscape design issues; contribute, or otherwise assist, as required thorough knowledge of and compliance with both the company&rsquo;s procedures and local landscape architectural standards and requirements.

</li><li>Performs a variety of assignments such as conducting landscape architectural studies, developing design concepts and design criteria, and preparing related reports. Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.

Job Description: The BIM Modeler &ndash; Landscape is responsible for creating, developing, and managing detailed 3D landscape models and drawings in alignment with project requirements.
