 Your Profile:

 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).

 12+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 10 years in food manufacturing space and 4+ years in a senior leadership role.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven experience in managing complex maintenance contracts and multi-disciplinary teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, equipment lifecycle management, and rotating/static equipment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience in maintenance execution and troubleshooting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with HSE, risk management, and quality assurance principles.
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, with fluency in technical and financial terminology.

 Certificate &amp; Legal Document Validation
 
 
 &bull; Supervise expire date of all statutory and class certificates and documents to ensure they are as per legislative requirements and in accordance with OSMC&rsquo;s policies.

 &bull; Familiar with relating contract, agreement including technical management of operations activities, IMO &amp; Class rules and regulations.

 Port Authority Coordination
 
 
 Liaises, as appropriate, with terminal operators at loading/unloading ports, customers, joint ship owners, service engineer and shipping agents store suppliers etc.
 
 
 &bull; Prepares repair and docking specification beforehand. Draw up estimate to obtain approval by the Fleet Manager as per requirement.
 
 
 &bull; Attend DD and co-ordinate with shipyard for safe and successful DD completion.
 
 
 &bull; Supervise, upkeep and maintenance as per scheduled in accordance with approved plan, making the necessary occasional visits.
 
 
 &bull; All repair and docking specifications prepared in advance.
 
 
 &bull; Appropriate and timely approvals obtained.

 System Audit
 
 
 &bull; Supervise ship maneuvering and mooring, etc. and ensure all established policies and processes are correctly implemented. Discusses and resolves in conjunction with Marine Manager and Fleet Manager, failure of machineries, unsatisfactory performance, etc.
 
 
 &bull; Administer in house ISM system, conduct audit of the vessel and in-house systems and conduct evaluation of the crew etc. in conjunction with ISM system.

 &bull; Contribute to the preparation of the technical department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
 
 
 &bull; Control and manage actual and budget for maintenance, Ship Store, LO, Medicines etc..
