Post-secondary education from an accredited college that included 18 semester hours or 27 quarter hours in physical science courses such as chemistry, biology, physics, or criminalistics; criminal justice courses, such as research methods, data analysis, or development of law; or legal studies courses, such as criminal law and procedure or legal research may be substituted for the required experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month).<br>
