Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education &amp; Training:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree from an accredited college with an emphasis in graphic art, mass communications, social media business, and marketing, Journalism or a related field.</li><li>
2 years experience in marketing, social media, videography, photography, public outreach, and/or public relations. Must have strong graphic art and video production skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in a variety of PC applications is required including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, WordPress, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe CS6.</li><li>
Must be proficient in English. Fluent in Spanish is preferred.</li></ul>
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

The Neuroscience Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales goals within the assigned territory by building strong customer relationships, delivering compliant and compelling product education, and driving appropriate patient access. This role requires expertise in neuroscience, deep knowledge of the local healthcare landscape, and the ability to partner effectively with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key stakeholders to deliver meaningful value and service.

Primary Responsibilities

<li>Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually, providing clinical, disease state, and reimbursement information in a compliant and customer-focused manner.</li>
<li>Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet or exceed sales objectives, leveraging market data, customer insights, and quarterly action plans.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with HCPs, including key opinion leaders, advocacy organizations, and other healthcare stakeholders.</li>
<li>Address customer questions, concerns, and objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills.</li>
<li>Tailor approved sales aids, clinical reprints, and brand resources to meet specific customer needs.</li>
<li>Partner with internal colleagues (e.g., managed markets, operations, sales training, marketing) to deliver coordinated solutions.</li>
<li>Provide guidance on product pricing, reimbursement, and specialty distribution channels, acting as a liaison between customers and the Company for access-related issues.</li>
<li>Accurately track and report sales activities, business expenses, and customer interactions in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Represent Acadia at conferences, exhibits, and trainings; participate in national, regional, and local meetings as required.</li>
<li>Mentor and train new sales specialists as needed, and contribute to cross-functional projects and field strategic insights.</li>

Knowledge &amp; Expertise
<ul>
<li>Deep understanding of neuroscience disease states, Acadia products, and local/regional market dynamics.</li>
<li>Ability to serve as a trusted resource in the medical community.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual engagement platforms (e.g., Zoom, WebEx).</li>
<li>Strong grasp of payer dynamics, including Part D and specialty pharmacy/hub distribution.</li>

Qualifications

Physical Requirements:

This role involves regular standing, walking, sitting, and the use of hands for handling or operating equipment. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
