Informs/alerts other laboratory sections about patient identification or medical record number problems, and special specimen requirements.</p></li>

Ensures that prepared samples are stored according to standard operating procedure (e.g. refrigerated, frozen, incubated).</p></li>

Ensures aliquotting and processing of specimens is performed within established time limits for each test.</p></li>

Maintains and provides clear, concise, accurate and legible records of test performance. Examples include, but are not limited to, electronic work cards, manual type and screen, communication logs, problem logs, and/or other written documentation.</p></li>

Reviews patient results, recognizes problems and/or discrepancies. Investigates and performs additional testing to resolve problematic patient test results to the extent possible, documents involved activities and notifies Assistant Supervisor or Manager.</p></li>

The CRC II will coordinate study start-up activities, conduct interviews and data collection, and oversee administrative issues related to ongoing research studies. The main responsibilities of the CRC II include conducting participant recruitment, administering questionnaires, gathering data, managing subject databases, serving as study liaison with regulatory bodies (e.g., Institutional Review Board), and liaising with research collaborators. They also will assist with new grant proposal submission and preparation of research reports and presentations.</p><p></p><p>

Job Summary</b></p>
The Preoperative Evaluation Registered Nurse is responsible for conducting comprehensive preoperative assessments to ensure patients are medically optimized and fully prepared for their scheduled surgical or procedural care. This role involves patient education, coordination with interdisciplinary teams, and meticulous review of medical histories, diagnostics, and perioperative requirements. The Pre-Op Eval RN promotes patient safety, supports evidence-based practice, and contributes to a positive patient experience throughout the surgical pathway.<br>

The MGB Cancer Institute is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Infusion Unit and ambulatory practices at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. The Infusion Unit APP Specialist will work in a recently developed role embedded within our adult infusion unit to serve as an infusion unit first responder, promote infusion services access and efficiency, provide oncology urgent care/symptom management and provide generalist coverage within our ambulatory hematologic malignancies programs for anticipated leaves and absences.

Join a large and supportive ambulatory oncology and infusion service line Advanced Practice Team in a role that specializes in the care of patients with a variety of medical oncology diagnoses. With an interdisciplinary team approach, this provider will promote a collaborative relationship between providers, professional nurses, research personnel and administrative staff, to provide safe, quality care in compliance with clinical trial protocols across the care continuum.

APP Responsibilities:

<ul><li>While on the adult infusion unit, the APP oversees the care of patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders, serves as a first responder for acute reactions and medical emergencies, partners with primary disease center providers to care for complex oncology patients awaiting hospital admission and collaborates with the Cancer Institute weekend first responder team to provide access for urgent evaluation and symptom management during off-hours.
</li><li>The NP/PA is also responsible for collaborative care of the patient with benign hematological disorders receiving care in the adult infusion unit.
</li><li>While in the cancer institute ambulatory practices the APP Specialist is responsible for the care of oncology patients in the outpatient setting, specializing in either solid tumor malignancies or hematologic malignancies in partnership with primary disease center APPs, physicians, practices nurses and administrative support team members.
</li><li>Flexibility in scheduling as this position may require weekend, holiday and evening coverage as well as variable weekday assignments.

Effectively organize and prioritize field time to maximize customer engagement and drive steady territory growth.</li><li>Provide product technical support to customers in an Operating Room and Interventional suite environment.</li><li>Participate in troubleshooting support programs.</li><li>Educate customers on products, procedures, and industry trends through use of education programs and local hospital programs.</li><li>Develop and maintain an in-depth profile of each account to include customer preferences, competitive products and field intelligence, market activity, important contact/decision makers, customer feedback, and attendees in-serviced.</li><li>Conduct strategic territory management and analysis.</li><li>Develop key opinion leaders.</li><li>Account for all territory expenses and materials.</li><li>Review current literature for new developments within the healthcare field and sales field including competitive information.</li><li>Attend local, regional, and/or national scientific tradeshows and professional meetings to promote products and in-service customers.</li><li>Assist with the coordination of national conventions to ensure proper setup, booth coverage, and breakdown of exhibit, as requested.</li><li>Be an active corporate member of professional societies (e.g. ANNA, NKF, AVIR, ESRD, etc).</li><li>Develop multi-level relationships within key accounts.</li><li>Maintain knowledge of company products and competitive offerings utilizing the technology tools that are available.</li><li>Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Teleflex&rsquo;s Code of Ethics, all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><div><b>

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Minimum level of education/experience required.<br>
<ul><li>Bachelors degree required; MBA a plus. Registered Technologist (RT) Certificate plus 5 years of direct sales experience in a cath lab setting accepted in lieu of degree.</li><li>3+ years sales experience with proven track record of exceeding sales goals, preferably in medical device sales.</li><li>Medical experience in the interventional cardiology or radiology setting, strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong clinical skills are a plus.</li></ul></div></div></div><div><div><div><b>

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $110-235,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commissions will also vary depending on individual performance. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered.
