The Research and Organizational Change Management (OCM) Co Op will report to the Senior Director of Organizational Alignment and directly support the director and the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer for MassDOT. The Administrative Office supports Fiscal, HR, IT, Property Services, and the Office of Real Estate and Economic Development at MassDOT and so, this position would indirectly support the department heads and senior staff of those departments.<br>

The Co Op will have the opportunity to help shape long-term strategy for the organization and how the administrative groups support MassDOT&rsquo;s operating divisions (Highway, RMV, Aeronautics, and Rail &amp; Transit). The Co Op will be exposed to a variety of work focused on how to shift organizational culture in service of long-term goals. This role will be a mix of research, analysis, and practical change management activities.<br>

The Co Op will take part in two major, ongoing change initiatives at MassDOT (among others): the implementation of departmental strategic plans (in alignment with MassDOT&rsquo;s upcoming Strategic Business Plan) and the Commonwealth-wide BEST Initiative which replaces legacy HR systems across the state and transforms many business processes along the way. </li><li><b>G&amp;A, Financial Applications </b>: The person in this role will be a supportive member of Vertex&rsquo;s DTE G&amp;A team and the global DTE organization. This intern will specifically help support financial applications which enable the organization to function optimally financially by supporting the technology behind strategic investing, banking, procurement, and additional operational competencies. This will include tasks such as implementation, automation, reporting, maintenance, configuration, audit, and more.
</li><li><b>GMDA, GCO, and Clinical Development </b>: The person in this role will be a supportive member of Vertex&rsquo;s DTE GMDA team for GCO and Clinical Development. This intern will specifically support the build and configuration of our Business Analysis process and delivery of business requirements for individual projects within Clinical Operations. This will enable the organization to function optimally by organizing our business requirements gathering practices across our several Clinical Trial Business Capabilities as well as various GCO DTE Projects. This will include tasks such as implementation, reporting, and configuration.
</li><li><b>Marketing Technology </b>: The Marketing Technology (MarTech) Intern will serve as a technical resource for supporting the DTE Commercial MarTech team across Web, Email and Content platforms. The role will provide support managing global implementation projects and platform enhancement projects across Commercial, Medical and Corporate Communications.
</li><li><b>Project Management &amp; Strategic Operations Business Analyst: </b>collaborate closely with experienced professionals across IT and business teams, assisting in refining project reporting, improving data accuracy, and helping to optimize processes within our project management tools and systems. This internship provides valuable exposure to project management best practices in a dynamic, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
</li><li><b>Project Management &amp; Strategic Operations Knowledge Management: </b>collaborate closely with experienced professionals, contributing to the streamlining of document management processes, optimizing our knowledge repository within Microsoft Teams, and ensuring the efficient organization of project artifacts. This internship offers valuable exposure to knowledge management best practices in a collaborative, innovative, and team-oriented environment.
</li><li><b>Quality Regulatory </b>: The person in this role will be a member of DTE Quality &amp; Regulatory team. This intern will contribute to project teams with requirements gathering, coordination of new technology assessments etc. The intern will also help support applications managed by our team, including support of change control processes, report development etc.
