<div><p><i>The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner evaluates and treats patients for pain related to spine conditions and sports injuries under the direction of the interventional pain management physician. No narcotic pain management is involved. This position supports Dr. Ron Chatterjee, who is part of the medical team for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and works with a broad range of orthopaedic and sports medicine cases.</i></p><p><br>

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p>

<li>Evaluates patients with spine or sports injury pain under the supervision of the attending orthopedic interventional pain management physician.</li>
<li>Gathers patient history and performs physical exams for interventional pain management patients.</li>
<li>Reviews charts, diagnostic studies, procedures, and consultations commonly required in the assessment of orthopedic interventional pain management patients including but not limited to: Pain and functional assessments and interpreting radiology studies including X-Rays, MRIs, and CT scans of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Formulates treatment plans to help patients alleviate pain and maintain functional independence.</li>
<li>Communicates effectively with Physician and clinical staff regarding patient management.</li>
<li>Orders appropriate non-narcotic medications, imaging, therapy, and orders for pain management and related treatments.</li>
<li>Refers patients as needed to appropriate settings such as hospital emergency rooms and other outpatient practices. In the event consultation with protocol physician is needed, telephone contact may be made.</li>
<li>Opportunity exists for performing joint and trigger point injections.</li>
<li>Focus is on non-operative and non-narcotic management of pain for patients through rehabilitation, therapy, and appropriate interventional procedures.</li></ul><br>

<ul><li>Maintain the school&rsquo;s purchase order system by creating purchase orders, placing orders with vendors, tracking orders, and processing returns</li>
<li>Assist accounts payable processes with creating journal entries and administrative tasks</li>
<li>Learn and utilize school purchasing, accounting, and point of sale software</li>
</ul><ul><li>Serve as support to the Treasure Cove by:
<ul><li>Restocking merchandise and snacks within store</li>
<li>Ordering, receiving, and tagging prices on merchandise</li>
<li>Processing in store and online orders</li>
<li>Answering customers&rsquo; questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise</li>
<li>Operating a heat-press for vinyl transfers</li>
<li>Designing signage for within store</li>
<li>Performing physical inventories</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Controller or Treasure Cove Manager</li>

<div></div><div><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>Customer service experience</li>
<li>High school diploma or G.E.D.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as a departmental manual</li>
<li>Ability to speak politely and effectively with colleagues, students and guests</li>
<li>Ability to work with a minimum amount of supervision</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, knowledge of Lightspeed, Cadworx, a plus</li>
