Job Summary:</b></h1><p>
The Order Entry Technician is responsible for entering prescriptions and refills into the pharmacy system with both speed and accuracy. These technicians must be responsive and courteous when addressing customer needs. Successful technicians are dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers, understanding customer information, and using it to improve the products and services they deliver. Their responsibilities include entering new and refill prescriptions, resolving customer questions and requests, contributing to continuous improvement, complying with safety policies, and adhering to applicable government regulations, including HIPPA.</p><p><b>
SCHEDULE: 3:30pm - 12:00am with rotating weekends

Essential duties and responsibilities:</p>

Assist pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications<br>
Complete Non-sterile Compounding<br>
Mix pharmaceutical preparations and fill prescriptions<br>
Receive and store incoming supplies<br>
Perform daily function of disinfecting hoods or other equipment<br>
Clean equipment and sterilize glassware using dry heat ovens or autoclaves<br>
Ensure security of Protected Health Information as per HIPAA requirements<br>
Attend orientation, training, and competency evaluations as needed<br>
