THE DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY AT LOYOLA UNIVERSITY MARYLAND invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to begin July 2027. While specialty area is open, we are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in clinical and/or counseling psychology. Area of subject matter expertise is also open. We especially encourage applications from candidates whose expertise prepares them to teach needed courses in the department. Such expertise includes psychological assessment (personality assessment, cognitive assessment, assessment and appraisal), developmental or clinical-developmental psychology (child, adolescent, lifespan, gero psychology) , research (research methods, statistics, measurement), biopsychology, neuropsychology, and/or health psychology. The individual selected for this position will be able to contribute to the robust teacher-scholar identity of the department and be able to teach courses in their specialty area. Tenure-track faculty teach 6 courses per academic year (5 in their first year) and engage actively in research related to their chosen fields of study and scholarly expertise. Tenure-track faculty receive a tenure-track research sabbatical (typically in their 4th year) and can apply for funds to support teaching innovations and research-related expenses. Additional funding is available for professional travel, and may include research start-up costs. In addition to teaching (50%) and research (30%) expectations, tenure-track faculty mentor undergraduate and graduate students and participate meaningfully in the life of the department and university through service (20%). Department service supports all programs, and includes supervising PsyD dissertations and the opportunity to supervise undergraduate research (with opportunities for accrued compensation). The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for providing pharmacy services, including, but not limited to, dispensing, preparing and delivering pharmaceuticals, performing inventory control, compliance audits, financial transactions, providing customer service, and/or maintaining pharmacy records; may assist in the onboarding and training of staff under the direction and guidance of Pharmacy Leadership; is designed to utilize and extend knowledge and competency while performing technical pharmacy functions of the Ambulatory Pharmacy, Inpatient Pharmacy, Infusion Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Research Center.
Specific responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician I will be documented and retained internally by the Department of Pharmacy.
Primary Responsibilities
The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job responsibilities performed.<ul><li>Selects, packages, and labels medication and supply orders for inspection and approval by a pharmacist. Processes medication orders following proper protocol including accurate data entry of patient information, insurance information (if applicable), and medication order details for verification. Selects correct drug product, fills, and matches labels for each medication order.</li><li>Maintains, tracks, and monitors inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical supplies in accordance with established par levels and informs the appropriate individual of stock needs and shortages.</li><li>Uses general knowledge of medical informatics including order‐entry systems, automated dispensing devices, bar‐code technology systems, which may include packaging devices and/or bar‐code medication administration (BCMA) systems, clinical integrated systems and system/application maintenance in the performance of daily duties.</li></ul>
&bull; Delivery of medications, pharmacy products, and/or pharmacy services to patients, agents of the patient, or patient care areas in compliance with regulatory standards pertaining to medication handling, storage, and/or security &bull; Perform all other duties as assigned.

Work Experience
