Key Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Specimen Collection: Perform specimen collection procedures following established protocols and standards. This includes urine collection and other methods as required.</li>
<li>Patient Interaction: Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner to explain procedures, alleviate concerns, and ensure patient comfort during specimen collection.</li>
<li>Labeling and Documentation: Accurately label specimens with patient information and ensure proper documentation of collection details, including date, time, and type of specimen.</li>
<li>Maintaining Cleanliness and Sterility: Maintain cleanliness and sterility of collection equipment and work area to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with safety regulations.</li>
<li>Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of collection supplies, ensuring an adequate stock of materials is available at all times.</li>
<li>Quality Control: Participate in quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected specimens, including performing proficiency testing and adhering to quality assurance protocols.</li>
<li>Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures governing specimen collection, including HIPAA regulations and laboratory safety guidelines.</li>

Qualifications:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy.</li>
<li>Proficient in basic computer skills (MS Office, electronic health records, etc.)</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li>
