We are seeking a creative and skilled UX/UI Designer to join our mission-driven team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your design expertise to meaningful projects that support ground-breaking scientific research. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging digital experiences for a variety of platforms, ensuring that our tools and communications are both user-friendly and effective. This position is fully remote, and we are pleased to offer both full-time and part-time opportunities. Key Responsibilities  <ul><li>Translate complex requirements and concepts into intuitive user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.</li><li>Design and deliver elegant and user-centred interfaces for our web platforms, internal applications, and other digital products.</li><li>Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.</li><li>Collaborate closely with researchers, product managers, and developers to ensure a seamless and consistent user experience.</li><li>Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system, including style guides, patterns, and component libraries.</li><li>Advocate for user-centred design principles and best practices throughout the organisation.</li><li>Analyse user feedback and activity to iterate and improve upon the user experience.</li></ul>Qualifications and Skills  <ul><li>Proven professional experience as a UX/UI Designer or in a similar role.</li><li>A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design process, problem-solving skills, and visual design talent.</li><li>Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.</li><li>A deep understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.</li><li>Experience in conducting user research and usability testing.</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders.</li><li>A meticulous eye for detail and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.</li><li>Experience working within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or scientific research sectors is highly desirable but not essential.</li></ul> What We Offer  <ul><li>A competitive hourly wage and flexible contract options.</li><li>The opportunity to work in a fully remote and flexible environment.</li><li>A chance to be part of a pioneering organisation making a significant impact on global health.</li><li>A collaborative and supportive culture focused on innovation and scientific excellence.</li></ul>
