STATEMENT OF ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES<ul><li>
Obtains and records electronically or manually, weights and/or volumes for all material delivered to transfer stations, drop box sites and recycling areas.</li><li>
Determines cubic measurement of each load or accepts posted capacity on regular refuse collection vehicles.</li><li>
Collects fees from customers based on established charges and records cash received as required.</li><li>
Provides information and assistance to customers in a professional, courteous and tactful manner regarding disposal and recycling procedures, fees, rules, policies and options.</li><li>

Work is performed outside and inside a building at a disposal site. Indoor work involves confinement at a workstation without freedom to move around throughout the day. Employee must be able to work alone at an isolated location or in recycling areas of transfer stations and be responsible for the entire site including opening and closing the gates and containers, and may be asked to change work locations with little to no prior notice. Utility Cleaners</b> will be responsible for the cleanliness of communal spaces, restrooms, workspaces, and outside areas as assigned and performs a variety of duties that involve sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting and polishing of surfaces and floors; removing trash; re-stocking supplies; and cleaning restrooms.

Key Responsibilities<p></p><ul><li>
Mop tile and concrete floor areas and vacuum carpeted areas</li><li>
Sweep, dust, scrub, wax, buff, and strip floors as necessary</li><li>
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including but not limited to urinals, toilets, toilet seats, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, hand dryers, floors, walls, showers and locker rooms</li><li>
Clean and disinfect breakroom and kitchen tables, sinks, counters, and refrigerator</li><li>
Empty waste baskets and interior and perimeter garbage cans and place garbage in outside storage bins</li><li>
Dust furniture, equipment, blinds, and light fixtures</li><li>
Clean mirrors and interior window surfaces and surrounding areas</li><li>
Clean entrances and exits, washing finger marks from glass, doors, walls and hardware, and keeping outside area clear of pebbles, snow, cans, paper, etc.</li><li>
Clean and disinfect drinking fountains</li><li>
Report damage and acts of vandalism and report and/or perform minor maintenance repairs</li><li>
Use cleaning equipment, including electric floor buffers, commercial vacuums, wet mops, large wringers and other necessary equipment, tools, and supplies</li><li>
Refill hand soap and paper towel dispensers and re-stock toilet paper as needed</li><li>
Mix and use cleaning chemicals and products in accordance with instructions</li><li>
Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner and an adequate supply is maintained.</li><li>
Move and/or relocate furniture</li><li>
Comply with all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility and job assignment</li><li>
Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested</li></ul><p></p>
Essential Skills<p></p><ul><li>
Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products and equipment</li><li>
Knowledge of the Hazardous Materials Information System</li><li>
Ability to read and understand instructions and labels, particularly on the use and application of cleaning chemicals and products</li></ul><br>

Requirements</b><br>

<li>High School diploma or equivalent</li>
<li><b>MUST</b> have Top Secret Clearance</li>
<li><b>MUST </b>have SCI eligibility
</li><li>1 year experience in Custodial field in the last three years</li>
<li><ul><li>including floor care-stripping, waxing, buffing</li></ul></li>
<li>Valid Driver's License compliant with REAL ID Act or are you willing and able to obtain one</li>
<li>Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check</li>
<li>Regular, dependable attendance</li>
<li>U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain access to military installations</li>
