Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and business-minded HR Generalist to join our growing team. This is a hands-on HR role responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits and payroll coordination, HR compliance, and employee records.In addition to traditional HR responsibilities, this role requires a strong ability to understand the businesses and industries we operate in. Our organization is involved in multiple technology-driven sectors, including data centers and high-performance computing (HPC), financial technology and exchange-related businesses, and artificial intelligence products and services.The ideal candidate should be intellectually curious, commercially aware, and capable of quickly learning different business models, organizational structures, and technical roles. The HR Generalist will work closely with senior management and department leaders to understand each business unit's talent needs and help build teams that support the company's continued growth.Additional Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop a working understanding of the company's different business units, including data center/HPC infrastructure, financial technology and exchange-related operations, and AI products and services.</li><li>Partner directly with executives and department leaders to understand business objectives, organizational needs, and hiring priorities.</li><li>Support recruiting across a wide variety of positions, including corporate, finance, operations, engineering, technology, compliance, product, and data center/site personnel.</li><li>Develop an understanding of the qualifications and technical backgrounds required for different roles in order to effectively screen and evaluate candidates.</li><li>Conduct initial candidate screenings with an understanding of both HR requirements and the underlying business needs of the position.</li><li>Assist management with workforce planning and organizational structure as new business units, projects, and locations are developed.</li><li>Stay informed about employment trends, talent availability, and compensation expectations within the technology, data center, fintech, and AI industries.</li><li>Work with management to develop job descriptions, compensation structures, performance expectations, and career paths appropriate for different business units.</li><li>Support the company's continued growth by identifying talent and organizational needs before they become operational bottlenecks.</li></ul>Industry &amp; Business KnowledgeThe successful candidate is not expected to be a technical expert in every industry, but should demonstrate a strong willingness and ability to learn the businesses we operate in.Knowledge or prior experience in one or more of the following areas is highly preferred:<ul><li>Data centers, high-performance computing (HPC), digital infrastructure, energy infrastructure, construction, or engineering.</li><li>Financial technology (FinTech), securities, trading platforms, exchanges, financial services, or regulated financial businesses.</li><li>Artificial intelligence, software, SaaS, technology products, or technology startups.</li><li>Recruiting technical and specialized professionals such as engineers, developers, product managers, compliance professionals, financial professionals, and operations personnel.</li></ul>What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who is more than an HR administrator.The ideal candidate should be able to understand the business behind the people. The Director, Program Management leads the strategic and operational oversight of all Cordella product-and-platform-related projects within the Edwards Implantable Heart Failure Management (IHFM) organization. This role ensures the effective deployment of project management methodologies across the product lifecycle-from concept through commercialization-while aligning with corporate strategy and regulatory requirements. This role ensures alignment with corporate objectives, regulatory standards, and market needs while optimizing resource allocation, budget utilization, and portfolio value.
How you will make an impact:
<ul><li>Portfolio Strategy &amp; Governance: Lead the development and execution of the enterprise-wide product portfolio strategy, for the Cordella system including the PAP sensor, implantation components, online Patient Management platforms, at-home monitoring accessories and apps. Establish governance frameworks for portfolio prioritization, investment decisions, and lifecycle management. Drive portfolio rationalization efforts to ensure alignment with strategic goals and market opportunities.
</li></ul><ul><li>Agile &amp; Hybrid Program Management: Champion Agile methodologies for software, firmware, mobile, AI ML, and cloud-based application development. Integrate Agile practices with traditional stage-gate processes to support hybrid development models. Ensure sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery align with regulatory and quality standards.
</li></ul><ul><li>Budget Management: Own the portfolio-level budget planning and forecasting process. Monitor and report on budget performance across all projects and programs. Partner with Finance to ensure accurate tracking of capital and operational expenditures.
</li></ul><ul><li>Resource Planning &amp; Optimization: Lead resource capacity planning across the portfolio to ensure optimal allocation of talent and tools. Identify resource gaps and recommend hiring or outsourcing strategies. Implement tools and processes for real-time visibility into resource utilization.
</li></ul><ul><li>Program &amp; Project Execution: Oversee execution of complex programs involving hardware, software, and systems integration. Ensure consistent application of stage-gate processes and design control procedures. Drive schedule management and ensure on-time delivery of milestones and product launches. Manage concurrent development cycles across multiple platforms and technologies.
</li></ul><ul><li>Risk Management: Lead proactive risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning across the portfolio. Facilitate risk reviews and escalation processes to ensure timely resolution. Integrate risk management into stage-gate reviews and executive reporting.
</li></ul><ul><li>Verification &amp; Validation (V&amp;V) Oversight: Ensure robust planning and execution of V&amp;V activities across all programs. Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, and Engineering to align V&amp;V with compliance and product performance requirements. For California, the base pay range for this position is $159,000 - $226,000 (highly experienced).
