 Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

 Directly accountable for the BU Qatar's P&amp;L, balance sheet performance, and ROI. Drive overall profitability and value creation in line with pre-assigned targets.

 Develop and implement a sustainable 1&ndash;3 years strategy for the area while managing current and future growth.

 Utilize human and business capital in a manner that maximizes operational efficiency and maximizes profitability.

 Build and grow the sales pipeline, identifying new opportunities to maximize revenue while mitigating regional risks.

 Qualification Requirements

 Completion of an undergraduate degree in an Engineering discipline from an internationally recognized university.

 Minimum of 14+ years of related work experience in the Industrial Services or Energy Services industry.

 At least 5 years of proven experience in a Regional or Country Manager position, including the supervision of diverse staff and the direction of complex work activities.

 Demonstrable management experience in the Construction, Engineering, or Energy sectors, specifically within high-turnover and high-activity environments.

As Project Installation &amp; Commissioning Manager (Project ICM) your strategic role is to coordinate the Installation &amp; Commissioning phase of the complete project scope of supply, from Project Handover to Project Execution Closure. You will lead the installation and commissioning activities for the project in such way that it leads to customer satisfaction and fulfilment of the goals set out by contract, budget, directives and commitments. You will be involved in several projects in Qatar.
How You&rsquo;ll Make an Impact<ul><li>
You are assigned to several projects in Middle East and in this role, you support the Global Project Manager(s) in leading the negotiations and the execution of the local booked Installation &amp; Commissioning (I&amp;C) contracts.</li><li>
For the offshore projects, you monitor and follow up all activities carried out in the construction yards (China, Korea, etc.) by which you safeguard the correct understanding of the status when the equipment arrives in Region Middle East. You monitor the (I&amp;C) budget, assess deviations from the contractual scope of supply and performance. Follow up and forecast time and cost according to plan.</li><li>
Based on the I&amp;C schedule, you forecast, plan and reserve Field service Resources (internal/external (vendors)) to support the Installation and Commissioning scheduled activities. You safeguard continuously communication with the Resource providing locations and vendors.</li><li>
You support acquiring all locally required documents such as Visa&rsquo;s, Work - permits, Sea passports, etc. You safeguard the compliance with the local applicable Environment protection, Health management, and Safety (EHS) procedures as covered under the scope of supply.</li><li>
As part of the (Global) project team, you regularly provide I&amp;C status reports to the Global Project Manager, Project team and regional team.</li><li>
You coordinate and lead the I&amp;C Weekly progress meetings with the involved Project Teams and Daily with the Site teams. You are responsible for the correct preparations and coordination of all site activities required to meet the commitments for site acceptance testing to reach PAC. You assist during the Site Performance Guarantee Testing and for getting the PAC signed and punch list actions carried out.</li></ul>
What You Bring<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, (or foreign degree equivalent) with between 6 to 8 years track record of Site Supervisory Management in the Oil &amp; Gas Industry in a similar position, where Installation &amp; Commissioning as well onshore as Offshore of &ldquo;Rotating Equipment&rdquo; has been the focal point.</li><li>
Preferably in-depth Centrifugal Compressor (Hands on) experience.</li><li>
Knowledge of Compression installations such as Control Systems, Anti surge systems, Anti pulsation systems, Seal-gas systems, lube oil systems and different driver types like Steam Turbines, Gas Turbine, E - Motor and VFD systems.</li><li>
Proven leadership skills with decision-making abilities as related to maintaining and completing the I&amp;C activities with Time, Material and Budget.</li><li>
Proven Strong Team player skills with Cross regional teams involved.</li><li>
Verbal and written communication in English, fluent in the local regional language (would be an advantage).</li></ul>
