Requirements<ul>

Execute sourcing across ingredients and packaging, ensuring alignment with cost objectives and quality standards</li>
<li>Manage supplier interactions including day-to-day communications, performance tracking, and coordination of periodic business reviews.</li>
<li>Hands-on execution of material planning, including purchase order placement</li>
<li>Develop and manage material planning strategies to ensure adequate inventory levels across the network.</li>

 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS<ul>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Food Science, or related field required</li>
<li>5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably within food &amp; beverage, CPG, or ingredient categories.</li>
<li>Proven track record in ingredient sourcing, supplier relationship management, and vendor evaluation.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of commodity markets, category management, and risk mitigation strategies.</li>
<li>Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with spend analytics and forecasting tools preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to manage purchase orders, inventory planning, and material reconciliation across a distributed network.</li>
<li>Experience with contract management, RFP/RFI processes, and cost-saving initiatives.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.</li>

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Support managed service engagements, in a variety of industries, on Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) implementation and operations</li><li>
Provide quality review for basic to complex trade compliance tasks and processes performed with the Trade &amp; Customs Delivery Center</li><li>
Support FTZ clients with validating data, implementing, testing and using GTM solutions</li><li>
Provide clients with guidance on requirements of U.S. Customs and Border Protection and participating government agencies (PGA) for import, entry and export transactions in an FTZ environment</li><li>
Assist in the delivery of multiple client engagements on time and within budget; maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations and satisfaction</li><li>
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment</li><li>
Additional responsibilities for Senior Associate:</li>
Act as a valued member of the FTZ Service Delivery Team and support the development and training of delivery center staff

Qualifications:</div><ul><li>
Minimum one year of recent import export experience with strong working knowledge of Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) processes, compliance activities, and operations, including participating government agency (PGA) reporting, as well as other import/export matters, such as Harmonized Tariff Schedule, customs federal regulations, free trade agreements, entry processes, valuation and informed compliance methods</li><li>
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Juris Doctor (JD) or a master's degree from an accredited college or university in international trade preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required</li><li>
Previous experience using FTZ inventory control and recordkeeping systems and/or FTZ processing is preferred</li><li>
Strong technical skills with the ability to conduct in-depth reviews of import/export data using data and analytics</li><li>
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally</li>
