Job Description</b><p><br>
AECOM is looking for an experienced <b>Senior Utility Enginee</b>r to provide support to the AECOM Transportation Investment Act (TIA) Program Management Team working for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). This position will actively contribute to the delivery of the second ten years of projects located in the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA), Heart of Georgia Altamaha (HOGA) and Southern Georgia (SOGA) Regions.</p><p>
This position is based in Georgia and operates in a hybrid work environment that includes remote work, periodic site visits, and travel to meetings within the designated TIA Regions. This role offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to::</p><ul><li>
Manage utility coordination on a long term GDOT Program, which AECOM has managed for 12 + years</li><li>
Provide utility engineering services on a large fully funded state transportation program with various project sizes, scopes, complexities, focusing heavily on local and utility owner coordination.</li><li>
Work within a small tight knit and cohesive team, which works as an extension of GDOT staff.</li><li>
Work on a high value program that strives to innovate program and project management, while remaining transparent to the citizens that voted to enact TIA.</li></ul><p>
As a <b>Senior Utility Engineer </b>on the TIA team working directly with GDOT, you will be responsible for managing the utility deliverables for all GDOT/TIA let projects as well as providing support on locally delivered projects. These projects include those located in the aforementioned TIA 2 Regions. A successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in the following tasks:</p><ul><li>
Provide input on design consultants scopes of services, deliverables and cost proposals as related to utility tasks and estimates, general utility coordination and SUE.</li><li>
Generate and provided annual updates to Utility Cost Estimates as necessary.</li><li>
Technical review of utility plans at project milestones such as Concept, Preliminary and Final Field Plan Reviews, Constructability Reviews, etc.</li><li>
Work with designconsultants to complete all utility submittals including 1st, 2nd, Combined and PURP as necessary.</li><li>
Coordinate with design consultants to ensure relocations are appropriately reflected at all plan stages.</li><li>
Work with cesign consultants, utility owners, District personnel and all other applicable persons in obtaining all necessary utility permits, using GPAS (Utilities).</li><li>
Perform detailed review of permit application deliverables, including the UAS and Work Plan.</li><li>
Provide Utility Certification for letting.</li><li>
Maintain a tracking database for all utility milestones and deliverables in Preconstruction.</li><li>
Coordinate with the State SUE Office on TIA projects requiring SUE, as necessary.</li><li>
Work with the District to provide review and concurrence of utility permits submitted by local sponsors for TIA projects on the State Route system.</li><li>
Contract Management: Work with utility owners and TIA procurement to execute utility agreements.</li><li>
Review Prior Rights and property interest submittals.</li><li>
Prep, manage and host monthly internal coordination meetings with the GDOT/TIA team.</li><li>
Attend relevant in-person project meetings that include, but are not limited to Concept Team Meetings, Local Government Coordination Meetings, Constructability Review Meetings, Field Plan Reviews, Preconstruction Conferences, etc.</li><li>
Provide support to program management team in the case of any Utility Escalation proceedings during construction.</li></ul><p></p><b><br>
Qualifications</b><p><b><br>

<p>A Project Engineer acts as the engineering manager of design and procurement activities for a variety of projects throughout Southern Company. Projects may range from large capital to small maintenance (retrofits) for gas storage and compression facilities, fossil and renewable electric generating facilities and transmission facilities. This role is responsible for managing the engineering scope, engineering budgets, engineering schedules, and serves as the main point of contact for engineering deliverables to plant, Southern Company Gas or TSS project managers.</p>

Sr. Financial Analyst

<div><p>The position is responsible for quantitative analysis on structured pricing products and developing tools and models for forecast and valuation. This role maintains the existing quantitative models and provides detailed report on model results timely and accurately. The position is accountable for continuously improving models, analysis and database across different markets.
