<p>d'Escoto, Inc. is seeking a full-time Resident Engineer professional to manage several highway and roadway construction projects<b>. </b>The Resident Engineer will oversee an inspection team on various IDOT construction projects, including roads, highways, bridges and other IDOT facilities.</p><p><b>POSITION FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><ul><li>Supervise construction on highway and/or roadway projects and provide quality assurance that completed work is in compliance with the plans and specifications</li><li>Maintain accurate records and reports related to the project</li><li>Act as a point of contact and coordinate directly with general contractor and negotiate change orders</li><li>Assist the contractor with utility coordination</li><li>Coordinate with other agencies and city departments</li><li>Monitor progress against accepted construction schedule and review the Contractor's progress reports.
