Scope of practice:</p><ul><li>
This position is open to both Pediatric Hematology-Oncology fellowship trained or General Pediatric/Internal Medicine-Pediatric residency trained physicians. No hematology-oncology specific training is required for the residency-trained applicant. Training will be provided after hiring.</li><li>
Residency trained applicants do not need to have Hospital Medicine fellowship training- they may be hired directly out of residency.</li><li>
Both types of applicant will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage inpatient care of Hematology/Oncology and Bone Marrow Transplant patients. They will attend to patient&rsquo;s medical needs on admitted inpatients as well as assist with new admissions.</li><li>
Based on their training, applicants can oversee junior level personnel including fellows, residents and advanced practice practitioners and can be involved in education.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
Roles include:</p><p>
Approximately 8 weeks of in-house night coverage per year.</p><p>

Essential Duties:
<ul><li>Executes planned maintenance, repairs, and modifications encompassing painting, patching, fixture installations, caulking, carpentry, and more within the facility.</li><li>
Responds to Facility Service Work Orders from building occupants. Requests may include plumbing, HVAC, lighting, roofing and electrical service calls. Diagnoses building management/energy management systems for faults and errors.</li><li>
Collaborates with fellow technicians to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting systems. Proficiently interprets blueprints and schematic drawings to ensure accurate troubleshooting and repairs.</li><li>
Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately. Takes readings from nominal equipment and makes timely entry into appropriate logs.</li><li>
Uses tools and equipment that are standard issue and do not need further calibration or adjustment, and keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.</li><li>
Observes and complies with all company safety policies. Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests.</li><li>
Works on and completes all facility team-based goals.</li></ul>
