REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:</b></p><ul><li>
Must have a minimum of (2) years of experience in facility/building maintenance, equipment and operations that includes all maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and painting, preferably in a hotel.</li><li>
Experience using basic hand and power tools.</li><li>
Thorough safety knowledge, including advanced knowledge of OSHA protocols working with electrical equipment, including hazard identification and deenergize, proper use of PPE, and lockout/tagout procedures.</li><li>
(1) year of hands-on experience in electrical systems and knowledge of 208/220 volt circuits and changing fuses to high voltage equipment in electrical buckets is highly desired.</li></ul><p><b><br>

Responsibilities:

As a Make Ready Technician at Drewery Place with Hines, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality standards of the vacant units are in market ready conditions that meet the Hines standard. You will perform technical and mechanical duties as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</div><div></div><ul><li><div><br>
Actively complete all repairs and improvements to the apartment homes prior to resident occupation as well as verifying the property is maintained up to standards</div></li><li><div>
Assists in maintaining the property such as the grounds, common areas, and amenities</div></li><li><div>
Perform general cleaning, pressure wash, trash removal and other duties as assigned</div></li><li><div>
Inspect all sheetrock and wall finishes for damage and repair/replace as needed</div></li><li><div>
Verify the apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed as needed around the interior (sink, showers, bathtubs, windows, etc.)</div></li><li><div>
Practice proper safety techniques with all mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, reporting any injuries, accidents, or other safety issues to the appropriate contact</div></li><li><div>
Follows guidelines for the proper and safe usage of hand, power tools, testing equipment, and safety devices and other items, as well as make sure items are returned</div></li><li><div>
Identifies areas for improvement and provides suggestions to improve overall efficiency and productivity</div></li><li><div>
