JOB SUMMARY
</b></p><p>Responsible for applying paint and coatings to JLG products using electrostatic, air-assist, and other automotive-style paint equipment. This role ensures high-quality finishes through surface preparation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to paint specifications.</p><p><br>

Apply primer, paint, and touch-up coatings using spray equipment and brushes.</li><li>
Mask and unmask parts to meet specifications.</li><li>
Prepare surfaces by sanding, washing, and conditioning; perform light bodywork if needed.</li><li>
Disassemble, clean, and maintain painting equipment (pumps, heaters, tanks, guns, etc.).</li><li>
Flush tanks and lines during color changes.</li><li>
Mix paints for color accuracy, viscosity, and consistency.</li><li>
Perform titrations and adjust chemicals as needed for paint and related processes.</li><li>
Apply decals, stencils, and rust-proofing as required.</li><li>
Inspect work before, during, and after painting to ensure quality standards (including mil and gloss checks).</li><li>
Transport parts and materials using tuggers, forklifts, overhead cranes, or manual carts.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including performing preventive maintenance tasks.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><ul><li>
6+ months of painting experience in automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment settings.</li><li>
Strong math skills and basic mechanical aptitude.</li><li>
Able to wear a respirator and pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).</li><li>
Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business and production demands.</li><li>
Maintain regular and reliable attendance, in-person and on-site.</li></ul><p><b>

1+ year of painting experience in a manufacturing or body shop environment.</li><li>
