Position: Timekeeper
 Location: Seattle, WA
 Hourly Wage: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
 Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
 
Position Overview
 
The Timekeeper is responsible for maintaining, updating, verifying, and monitoring employee hours across the company's timekeeping systems. This position delivers essential day-to-day administrative support to the Operations Manager and the Corporate Accounting team, ensuring scheduled shifts align with timesheets and that payroll data remains accurate. The Timekeeper serves as the go-to resource for employees with questions about time-entry corrections, PTO requests, and attendance tracking.
 
Primary Responsibilities
 
Timekeeping & Attendance: 
<ul>
<li>Administer, verify, and monitor employee hours recorded in the company's timekeeping systems.</li>
<li>Cross-reference employee schedules against timesheets to catch and resolve discrepancies.</li>
<li>Conduct daily timesheet reviews to detect missing clock-ins/outs and incorrect entries.</li>
<li>Process approved timesheets, generate time reports, and submit time adjustments as needed.</li>
<li>Manage employee PTO and vacation requests, confirming all are accurately coded.</li>
<li>Watch for overtime and irregular time-charging activity, flagging issues to the appropriate supervisors.</li>
<li>Confirm timesheets are reviewed each day and forwarded to the corporate office.</li>

Administrative & Operational Duties: 
<ul>
<li>Build and maintain accurate employee work schedules in partnership with the Operations Manager.</li>
<li>Work directly with on-site employees to answer questions and provide guidance on timekeeping policies.</li>
<li>Log, document, and escalate employee inquiries related to payroll hours.</li>
<li>Keep database records and physical files organized and up to date as directed.</li>
<li>Offer ongoing administrative support to the Operations Manager and Accounting Departments.</li>
<li>Follow all payroll and timekeeping concerns through to full resolution.</li>
</ul>
Education & Experience
 
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma required.</li>
<li>Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a relevant field is preferred.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in Timekeeping, Payroll Support, or Administrative support is required.</li>
<li>Proficient in computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).</li>
<li>Proficiency in Apple applications (iOS, Numbers, Pages, Keynote) is a plus.</li>
<li>Prior experience with timekeeping software (e.g., ADP, Paylocity, or similar) is highly preferred.</li>

Physical & Work Environment

<li>Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds.</li>
<li>Valid Alabama Driver License required.</li>
<li>Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required to meet payroll deadlines.</li>
