GENERAL PURPOSE:</b></p>

Under general supervision, this position provides a full range of comprehensive administrative office support work to the Agency Deputy Chief Executive Officer requiring the application of specialized administrative knowledge, customer focus, organization and attention to detail, initiative, and independent judgment. It is the highest level within the administrative support series and is distinguished from all other administrative support classifications in that the major duties performed require independent judgment and prioritization, tracking, and communication on behalf of the senior-most executives within Sound Transit&rsquo;s structure. Secretarial/clerical duties may still be required but are performed less frequently with notable independence and accountability for the work results. This position serves as liaison with regard to programs, policies, procedures, and assigned functions for the department; acts as a liaison with other departments/divisions; coordinates executive schedules and meeting calendars; coordinates their principals&rsquo; process flow; handles travel arrangements and logistics; makes process improvement decisions, and coordinates communications with other Agency departments, divisions, and outside agencies on behalf of the Agency Deputy Chief Executive Officer and the department.</p>

The successful candidate will possess an MD (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified or board-eligible (or foreign equivalent) in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology or anatomic pathology. The candidate must be board-certified or board-eligible in Molecular Genetic Pathology. Must qualify for a license to practice medicine in Washington State. Documented expertise is required with molecular diagnostic test development, clinical interpretation of complex genomic test results, and managing the selection and analysis of tissue samples for molecular testing. A record of research, as documented by publications, is also required. In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H1-B visa, graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the US Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.</p>

<p><b>Role Summary:</b></p>
<p>
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic support to individuals enrolled in our PHP and IOP programs. You will collaborate with other clinicians, including psychiatrists, therapists, to provide a holistic approach to patient care.</p>

Role Responsibilities:</b></p>

<li>Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including intake assessments, for patients in the PHP/IOP programs.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on psychiatric assessment findings.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Provide ongoing medication management and adjust treatment plans as needed.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Work closely with therapists, social workers, and other team members to coordinate care for patients.</li>

The salary for this position ranges from $160,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation includes medical, vision, and dental benefits.
