Business Development Manager – Logistics & Transportation

<p><b>Job Description</b></p><p>We are seeking an experienced and results-driven <b>Business Development Manager</b> to join our team in the <b>logistics, transportation, and freight forwarding</b> sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development within the industry and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue growth.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company's customer base and increase market share.</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics, transportation, and freight forwarding sectors.</li><li>Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.</li><li>Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.</li><li>Work closely with internal departments (operations, customer service, finance) to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery.</li><li>Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.</li><li>Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and business proposals to senior management.</li><li>Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.</li><li>Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.</li></ul><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development in logistics, transportation, and freight forwarding.</li><li>Strong understanding of freight forwarding procedures (air, sea, and land), customs clearance, and local/international logistics operations.</li><li>Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.</li><li>Valid QID and transferable NOC is mandatory.</li><li>Immediate availability preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.</li></ul><p><b>What We Offer</b></p><ul><li>Competitive salary and performance-based incentives</li><li>Professional and dynamic work environment</li><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement</li></ul><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR6,500.00 per month</p>
