Requirements

About the role:</h3>

We are seeking a Multimedia Designer to join our creative team for a financial services client. In this role, you will transform straightforward concepts into visually compelling, user-friendly designs across a wide range of marketing channels. You will bring strong graphic design fundamentals, paired with the ability to support light motion graphics and basic video editing, to help elevate creative executions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

The Multimedia Designer will be a key member of an agile, cross-functional team of agency and client marketers, supporting value streams across digital, social, print, and emerging media. This role is ideal for a versatile designer who enjoys variety, storytelling, and expanding their skillset across static and motion-based design.

What you will be doing:</h3>
<ul><li>Design and adapt layouts, templates, and visual branding across digital and print channels to support products, services, and business objectives.</li>
<li>Create assets for multiple platforms, including web, email, social media, digital display, mobile, digital signage, print, and presentations.</li>
<li>Support light motion graphics and video editing, including simple animations, transitions, titles, and basic video enhancements for social, digital, and internal marketing needs.</li>
<li>Edit and adapt existing video or motion assets as needed, following established brand guidelines and creative direction.</li>
<li>Collaborate with strategists, project managers, scrum masters, designers, and copywriters to understand project scope and objectives.</li>
<li>Participate in agile planning, ceremonies, and daily standups.</li>
<li>Accept feedback and iterate on designs in a highly collaborative, low‑ego team environment.</li>
<li>Work closely with clients as a Brand Guardian to ensure materials comply with brand standards, advertising regulations, and ADA requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure final deliverables meet design and production standards, including version control, naming conventions, and file organization.</li>
<li>Research and apply best practices in graphic design, digital media, and emerging creative trends, including motion and video.</li>
<li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously while thriving in a deadline-driven environment.</li>
<li>Periodically assist with editing or troubleshooting Salesforce email templates, applying basic HTML and CSS knowledge as needed.</li></ul> 

<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
What you need to be great in this role:</h3>
<ul><li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in multimedia or graphic design within an agency, marketing, or in-house creative environment, including client-facing work.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and familiarity with After Effects and Premiere Pro for basic motion and video editing tasks.</li>
<li>Solid foundation in typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first best practices across digital platforms.</li>
<li>Understanding of UX principles, social media formats, and current digital design trends.</li>
<li>Experience supporting or adapting motion or video content for campaigns, social media, or digital signage (not required to be motion‑focused).</li>
<li>Knowledge of marketing and advertising best practices with attention to brand consistency and quality.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.</li>
<li>A well-rounded design portfolio that may include a small selection of motion or video work, in addition to strong static design examples.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Mac OS.</li>
<li>Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Agile or SAFe methodologies.</li>
<li>Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Workfront, or Azure DevOps (ADO).</li>
<li>Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).</li>
<li>Design experience in financial services or regulated industries.</li>
<li>Curiosity and foundational understanding of how AI tools can support creative workflows.</li>
<li>At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $85,000.00 to $95,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER's total compensation package.</li>
