Surgery Your Role on the Team The position of Nurse Practitioner 2 in the Department of Surgery, requires a highly competent, independent yet team-oriented individual who will be immersed in the management and coordination of all inpatient care of surgical patients, primarily located at our new hospital in Irvine, California. The surgical patients will include general surgery and specialty surgical services, on all levels of care., including the intensive care unit. Inpatient surgical services include colorectal surgery, ENT, general surgery, gynecology, hand surgery, minimally invasive surgery, plastic surgery, surgical oncology, thoracic, urology, vascular. Duties will include consults and inpatient care and management. Duties include and not limited to evaluating care, ordering diagnostics and creating a treatment plan.
